I give this 5 stars because it looks great, however it would be good for them to tell you on here that if you are going to put this kit on a 4Runner you will need to buy 2 of Part Number 48302-35040 for it to fit in the rear. I didn't really see anything online from the company saying this, just off hand comments, so I gave them a call and they gave me this part number. Overall, the install wasn't hard, and the instructions were easy to follow. I would highly suggest this kit to anyone thinking about a leveling kit.

The front went on flawlessly. The rear coil spring isolaters and the spacers did not fit properly because they didn't seat together. Had to mill out the center of the stock isolater to get the spacer to sit in it properly inside of it. Apparently there are two different types of stock isolaters- a flat top one and one with a circular recess for the spacer to sit in. Other than that it has performed just fine. Be sure to grease your sway bar up when you have it apart and check your tierod ends. There was a light clunk at low speeds and it turned out to be a wornout swaybar endlink.

i purchased this for my 2014 limited 4 runner. i have Xreas and this didnt work out. overall the product is great, but the rear risers did not fit into y bump stops flush. i could have modified them b cutting them but decided to just bite the bullet and do a proper lifet. i bought new front shock and new rear shock and coil spring to do the job. I probably would have used this if it would have fit. im a little upset that the company said it would fit but found out the rear spacer didnt. I guess ill try and resell it to someone else who has a model it does fit.

I bought this kit without knowing for sure if I was making a good decision. Immediately after install it already looked great, but I wanted to give it some time before writing a review just to be sure nothing went wrong.Now, one year after install, I can comfortably say that this was a great purchase. The truck looks the way it always should have looked. If you are looking for a really “lifted” look, then this may not be for you. But if you want to make your 4Runner look the way it SHOULD look from the factory, look no further. The appearance is definitely aggressive, but not too heavy. The truck still rides very stable, and I was able to fit much bigger tires (some trimming inside the front wheel wells was necessary).More interesting than anything, is that now I actually get people stop me and ask “is that the new style of 4Runner??” This happens at least once per week now, and my truck is 5 years old. Like I said, this is just The was 4Runners SHOULD look rolling out of the factory (hopefully Toyota reads this!).

Assuming you mostly use your machine on the road, and don't work it too hard off road when you do, then this is all the lift you will need, rather than the expense of replacing your shocks, etc. These types of kits are pretty competitively priced, and there are many to choose from, but one thing that is nice about the Pro Comp kit, is they include the diff drop kit with it. All the others will sell it separately, if they sell one at all. There may be differing opinions as to whether or not a diff drop is actually needed, but it can't hurt, and it's included free in this kit, so there you go. Install was easy, but I had a lift and extra people to help out. This is not a one man job, and it would have been more difficult had it been on a jack stand, but it's doable that way as well....

This lift worked great on my 2016 4runner trail edition. I was able to fit 285/55r20 with minor rubbing on the mud flaps and front fender liner. However, the rear is a 1.5 inches higher than the front so if you want your 4runner level, I would swap out the rear spacer for a 1 inch or 1.75 inch spacer. Looks good though and not that difficult to install.

Great product but my installer said the cups needed some modification to work with my 2018 4runner off road. So the product is probably not an exact for this model

Directions were very easy to use and understand. I did the is tall by myself and took maybe a couple hours. Extremely happy with the results, came out perfectly level and the height looks so good.
