For non-speaking Russian language - the date stamp on the pack is the date it was produced. It states on the package - it is good for 20 months from the date it was produced. I saw some reviews claiming they got expired product and even provided photo of the date stamp as 9/7/23, so the expiration date is March 9th of 2025 (20 months from July 9 2023). I personally think this is one of the best buckwheat products on the market in the US (no offense, not that many good choices are available)

Medium flavor, not over roasted, clean, good texture. Packaging was not damaged. Date on the bags is the production date, not expiration.

If you like buckwheat, you know what you're getting. It's tasty and nutritious. This seller provides a good product. It comes fast and seems fresh. Very happy with the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Good quality buckwheat for a good price. Everything was packaged nicely: no tears or rips. Some reviews are saying that the buckwheat is dirty. Well, it's a grain, you supposed to wash it before cooking it.

You cant find a combination of quality and price that good in any of the grocery stores. The ones that are sold in grocery stores are over processed and just falls apart when it's cooked.I am absolutely in love with this Buckwheat. I cook it in a rice cooker and eat it in the morning, with a splash of half and half or milk. It has so many nutrients and stays whole after cooking.I give it to my dog, as he does not like canned dog food.I mix it with some salt and butter as it cooks. And it comes out tasting great.Both my dog and I love it.

Arrived quick and undamaged, however, need to point out that packing could have beenbetter. Good quality, clean groats. Lowest price I could find. Don’t pay attention to the reviews which ‘scream’ the product has expired and include photos of a pack with the stamp 07.2023 This is the date it was manufactured. It’s done acc to the Russian law and is the standard practice.

I love buckwheat! Having tried many brands, the only brands that I love and buy are of Russian buckwheat. I think they have a different kind of buckwheat, it tastes differently. Whenever I bought some US-made buckwheat, no matter what brand, I ended up throwing it away.I would add that I use different cooking instructions. I use, definitely, less water than recommended. I use around 1:1 or so ratio for water, maybe just slightly more water. Also, it definitely does not take 20 minutes to cook. I simply bring it to boil and then turn it off right away and let it sit for 10-15 minutes on my turned-off flat top stove. The heat is enough to get it ready.
