Bird Netting For the Garden 10m x 10m 50mm 2" Anti Pigeon Knotted Mesh Heavy Duty White Net Protection

Good strong netting. I purchased this to cover my pond to stop hedgehogs falling in it. Big enough squares to still allow the plants to come through and for frogs etc to get in and out, but sturdy enough to stop hogs falling in! My pond is made from an old, large reactor tyre, and there is ample netting left over - which I intend covering my raised vegetable beds with, to stop the cars using them as dirt trays!

I used the netting to protect fruit bushes on the allotment. Draped the netting over a frame and tensioned it with canes and pegs at ground level. It was effective and I didn't lose fruit. The netting is stretchy so it can be hard to know where to cut off a length. In the end I just guessed and cut off a generous amount from the skein. Very strong and well made. The mesh size is large so will keep pigeons out but not insects and possibly some determined small birds. A good investment.

This is a good quality net, but definitely not 5x5, the breath is 5 only in the middle less than a meter in corners, so if you want a square piece you need to cut from middle and through the corners.

when the net was unravelled it was down to a point at one end of the net,so therefore did not cover the 5x5 meteres for which it was supposed to do.

This mesh is fantastic, I made a pond cover by stapling it across a wooden frame. The squares are big enough for frogs to get in and out safely, and strong enough for children not to fall in the water. It's virtually invisible when viewing the pond plants and fish, and it's made in Cornwall.

Very solid and the size provided makes it easy to shape the exact size needed for your outdoor elements that needs protection from pigeons ( ie. for me they would invite themselves on my patio to leave their usual 'stuff' ).DISCLAIMER: I love birds, I do not mean I want to harm them, just protecting our space from them as they can be a nuisance.

Excellent quality. Lightweight, strong, well made. Corners tagged for easy identification.
