DreamHome Satin Pillow Case with Zipper, 2 Pillow Cases (Standard, Purple)

I bought the white standard option and for about $11 for 2 pillow cases, it's a fantastic deal. I read the other reviews and was a little worried in the quality but having used them for a few days now, I'm just kicking myself for not getting them sooner. I have longer hair and it's bleached, toned, colored, etc. and it seemed like it was breaking off a lot lately and I was contemplating swallowing my pride and trying a satin cap but the thought of myself wearing that at night was too appalling. Then I remember someone mentioning on TV something about satin pillow cases for "beautiful hair" and so that's why I bought this. I have no clue what is the "right one" to buy, I honestly bought this because it came in white which matches my all white fluffy bed, it's pretty cheap, you get 2 cases, and they are zippered. When I received them in the mail, I was so desperate to try them out that I didn't even wash them first. There was no chemical scent and I thought I would be slipping around all night but they were actually quite nice to use. The next day I did wash them and worried that they might fray or shrink - nothing. Please note I did not put them in the dryer though, I hung mine up to dry over my bath tub using hangers with clips and they dry rather quickly and retain their shape perfectly. I didn't have to struggle putting them on my pillows and the zipper is easy to use and safely hidden so you don't have to worry about getting a zipper impression on your skin if the pillow turns in the night. I've only had these for a few days now but I have noticed a huge difference in the number of hair I find "everywhere" (sorry it's gross but that's life). I would highly recommend these for your hair!!!! I wish I would have tried this sooner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have ordered many of these pillow cases for myself, friends, and family, but never have I been as disappointed as I was with this order. The pillowcases that were sent were not what was in the picture, nor what I had received previously. In the picture you see the bottom pillowcase from prior order and the top pillowcase from this order.This pillowcase has a side zipper, rather than a hidden zipper. The fabric is much, much thinner than the other fabric. It was so thin in fact that the seam came apart upon first wash!Definitely Italy don’t recommend!

these are the softest satin pillowcases i've ever owned. they give me all the hair/skin benefits that i expect from a silk pillowcase --AND they're so comfortable and soft that i just want to knock out as soon as i lie down. not like my previously owned silk pillowcases were uncomfortable/rough in particular, but i don't remember ever taking the time to nuzzle my face into my pillow because it was so soft! will be buying more, in more colors.

Beige color was nice, but that was it. Fabric was very low thread count and I could see the weave! Scratchy, and defeats the purpose of buying for helping with hair and skin. I have cotton pillowcases silkier than these. Nothing like the other 100% polyester satin pillowcases I've purchased for similar price at T-J-Maxx (Morning Glamour brand). Those were very silky. Returning immediately.

I’ve bought a bunch of different satin and silk cases here and I have some I bought years ago. These are by far the crappiest ones I’ve ever purchased. And of course it’s just a bit too late to get my money back. They seemed ok at first although I did notice that the material got a lot of snags that the many others I own haven’t gotten. But they were the color I wanted, so I let that go. Then today I took them off the pillows to wash and there’s a huge rip in the seam of one of them. I wash them once a week, so they've only been washed 3 or 4 times. So disappointed.

The first time I ordered these pillow cases was about a month ago. I ordered them in navy blue and they were well made with a softer satin along with the fold and the zipper under that. I was impressed and decided to order another set in brown. The pillow cases I ordered a week ago came today and I didn't like what I saw. Firstly, they were not packaged like the first set I ordered but were instead in an unmarked clear plastic bag. Secondly, the material is cheaper, not soft and there is no fold with a zipper, they do not appear to be well made at all. I will not be ordering again!

I've used oversized European pillowcases on my American pillows for years, because, I'm an idiot I guess. I finally decided do buy American sized cases, and I'm loving these. They held up in the washer and dryer (inside out) and they're lovely to sleep on. I got the teal color, and it's gorgeous. Almost an emerald green. I always sleep with my hair wrapped up in a silk scarf, so I don't NEED silky pillowcases, but I prefer them, especially on those rare occasions when my scarf comes undone in the middle of the night and I can't be bothered to tie it back up.Note: I don't really care about having 100% real silk pillow cases. If you're trying to reduce aging...good luck. Try sunscreen instead. If you're trying to reduce hair breakage and tangling, any silky/satiny pillowcase will do, whether it's silk or polyester or whatever. Silk may be better for all I know, but anything that's silky and slick to the touch will reduce tangling considerably. Remember to take this when you sleep over at someone else's house. (Or get a silk scarf and wake up with hair so smooth and unruffled, you don't even need to comb it.)

Honestly? These make my head hot and are not as slippery as I would have liked. Will be ordering another brand.

I do love me some satin pillow cases. I bought these because as slippery as this material is a zipper encasement is a must. I choose this seller because they where the only seller that had a beautiful red in an zipper style. I am sad to say that the quality is not that great I already have runs, snags and pulls from some threads with this product. My other satins cases from other sellers here on Amazon so far are doing very well. Could be a lesser quality of satin IMHO. Shame cause these guys are the only folks who sell this red too!
