Worth every penny.
The stands are great. Well constructed. Having a bar instead of a knob to tighten the pivot point of the boom is perfect. I have had problems with other stands that have knob type tightening mechanisms not easy to use. These however are much easier to tighten. This bundle came with a bag with separated slots very nice. The zipper could have been made sturdier but for the money well with it.

Great value!
I purchased these stands knowing full well what to expect, but to my surprise the stands are pretty well made, for $11.28 a piece. The legs don't fold up when you lift the stand up (in fact it has a user serviceable adjustment, there is a hex bolt that you can loosen or tighten connected to a square nut) , all the feet have seemingly durable rubber end caps (not plastic), and everything seems to lock with little effort (boom extension, boom angle, stand height, and legs). There are also no chrome colored finished bits to peel in the future. It was a surprise to see that each stand came with two mic cable clips. But unlike other cheap stands I have purchased in the past, the booms are NON-REMOVABLE, not designed to be removed. Or I should say that you cannot remove the boom part and screw on a standard microphone clip with ease; to have a tripod only stand. The boom is a single stage and has no counter weight, so you have to make adjustments to the height and length of the boom out to ensure the stand doesn't tip over. I wouldn't use this for any cardioid condenser mic or tube mic, or anything heavier than a SM58. The sticker label on the stands are easily removed, it took only the effort to lift up a corner of the label and it peels cleanly off (at least for me it did). The bag is a joke, but I don't care. For the cost, you can't go wrong.

Rating 5 out of 6 stands!
I had one come damaged. That's it. I just put black duct tape on it (tention screw and plastic surrounding it broke off) and called it a day. It's now a stationary stand. I figured at least two would be damaged based on other reviews, but nope, just one. I bought these to sit in one place, and record my drums. Once set up, they won't be moved often. They are pretty sturdy for the price. Sturdier than some of the other reviews would have you believe. Just don't over torque the adjustment screws and they hold up well. Not much weight at the base but eh, 6 stands for this money is unbeatable. Boom stands at that as well!

Mic stands
Bought these for our band. They work great. The carry case is not great but will do in a pinch. These are very adjustable and have held up to our abuse for the last 6 months.

Absolute worst
As a sound engineer of 18 years, I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of the mic stands. This is as bad as it gets; you see on the picture what came off the box. I am sure it fell in the truck or something similar, but each of the 6 enclosed stands had breakage of some plastic parts. Stands do travel to gigs on trucks and they have to have a level of durability but the sturdiness of this one is non-existent given that all 6 broke. Having received them this way - needless to say I am glad I did not have to find it out the hard way - at the gig, for instance. Cheers.

Low quality stands, but good value for the money
Six microphone stands for under $100 is a great deal any way you spin it, especially when it comes with its own bag. I needed a few more microphone stands for my rehearsal space and didn't want to spend top dollar because they would never leave my rehearsal space. So far, they've lasted me a year and I've had no problems at all, but I've been very attentive to treating them properly. As for build quality, I'd give it a 4 out of 10. They're definitely below average build quality and definitely wouldn't stand up to the abuse of being taken around places or on a tour. The boom ends don't have very much weight to them, so they don't hold big, heavy microphones very well, or even smaller ones when extended all the way. They do, however, work very well for background vocalists or room mics, or situations where you need a lot of stands and aren't necessarily worried about having the highest quality. For the money, it's hard to beat, and even if one or two break over the next year, it's still a good deal.

Very happy with our purchase.
These mic stands DO NOT come with the mic clip. You know, the little piece on the end that holds the microphone in. That being said, we are very happy with the quality of these stands. They come with a bag that is not HIGH quality, but with some care is fairly durable.

If you buy them , don't expect them to last long, it's plastic.
One stand arrived broken, didn't expected much for the price, they will do for studio reccording but I would never take those on live performances.. If you buy them , don't expect them to last long, it's plastic.
