Wonderful book!
My 9 year old son is fascinated by Eucharistic miracles. And this book was perfect for him. It’s written in a way that’s very easy for him to understand and keeps his attention in the short stories. Every night he asks that I read to him from this book. He LOVES it, and that means a lot since he doesn’t like reading.

Good book to read to children preparing to receive their first Holy Communion.
The children in my First Holy Communion class looked forward to me reading a story each week. Like any second grader, they would have enjoyed more pictures, but liked hearing about the miracles. The drawings at the beginning of each story were well done. And I had only read a couple stories before I had to start teaching over “Zoom”. The fact that they were interested in being read to remotely is praise, I think. When I could, I corroborated the story with other information and gave them a few more facts and information about the time period. I was pleased enough with their reaction that I’m looking for similar books (hopefully with more pictures) about reconciliation. This is not a book for the 2nd graders to read by themselves - it is a good book to read to them - and engage in dialogue. Children are very receptive to hearing about miracles and this book helps them understand/believe in the Real Presence.

Makes the miracles more real
The stories written about these eucharistic miracles are extremely engaging for kids and adults. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them and appreciated how tales I'd heard previously really 'came alive' in these stories. This book is terrific for encouraging wonder and appreciation for the power of our Eucharistic Lord.

Engaging stories, needs editing
I got several of these books for all the kids I know who are making their First Communion this year. I think the stories are engaging for kids. I found the last story a little out of place, but the others are good. It also has a few typos in it, so it could use another look-over by the editor. I've gotten good feedback on the kids liking the stories, though. I would recommend it to others.

Amazing!
Amazingly beautiful and inspiring! Perfect for children preparing for first Communion. Our daughter who is 10 says "short stories with characters you get to know and you feel like you are there!" God bless you Kathryn for this beautiful book.

“Lord, I believe that the bread is your Body, and that your Blood is in the chalice.”. Amen.
Most Holy Trinity-Father, Son, and Holy Ghost-I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of sinners. Amen? Selah.. Glory! To his amazement, the Host turned into an enlarged piece of bloody flesh. Tastey, tastey. That white wafer was no longer a white wafer; it was the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ under the appearance of bread. That's profound. That woman is a living tabernacle until the Host is digested..? Until the host is digested? And what of autophagy? I think She is one with the bridegroom. Flesh of His flesh. Bone of His bone. The right now bride of Christ.
