Probably one of the best compilation out there in the market for USMLE.Its also very useful for exams like AIIMS.

This is the basic book one require to prepare for USMLE. The book is colorful and it also contains mnemonics to remember the topics easily.

BIBLE for USMLE

It's one of the best book I read.

I bought this book to help me decide if I wanted to take the USMLEs. I wish I had bought this book a lot earlier before I bought other textbooks. This book gives an amazing overview of the major systems taught in preclinical medicine. With the book divided into the major organ systems and each system then being divided into: Anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology. This book is very good if you have already been taught the content but I would not recommend it to learn the content initially as there is much abbreviated language and acronyms. However this book has amazing diagrams and simple concise notes and methods of remembering facts.I would absolutely recommend this textbook to anyone.

Great review book and it is well worth the money for Step 1 prep. However, once you receive this package, you may find that your stress levels increase dramatically.

Great book! A must for step 1!

E' un ottimo libro. Personalmente ci ho preparato l'esame per le scuole di specialità medico-chirurgiche 2017 (per gli amiconi SSM17) e devo dire che è stato gran utile. Avendo poco tempo per studiare ho optato per questa soluzione, anziché buttarmi su manuali più corposi e costosi come CTO e AIMS, e a posteriori la scelta ha premiato! Anche se estremamente sintetico, fornisce una buona panoramica su la gran parte degli argomenti di clinica e pre-clinica (purtroppo di chirurgia non c'è praticamente niente); per il resto:- Affronta ogni patologia e sindrome attraverso le sue caratteristiche principali, senza spaziare troppo in minuzie anacronistiche;- Dove possibile, include sempre strategie mnemoniche per facilitare l'apprendimento delle informazioni (utile soprattutto ai fini del test);- Facile la lettura anche se in inglese, non serve avere chissà quale conoscenza della lingua per capire tutto senza problemi.Insomma: se quello che stai cercando è un buon libro che ti permetta di riordinare un pò le idee e preparare in modo oculato il concorso SSM di turno, soprattutto se hai poco tempo per farlo, secondo me questa soluzione è ciò che potrebbe fare al caso tuo!
