Give great coverage
I have a townhouse with a lot of vaulted ceilings. This definitely helps with edging at the top of the vaulted walls. It would work even better if I did not have popcorn ceilings in some of the rooms, so right at the very top, I had to have a professional go up there with a brush to finish. But for the edges that were not against the popcorn ceilings, this gave awesome coverage, much better than a roller, and allows you to do a lot of painting before it wears out (which you will know has happened when it starts peeling away from the backing). I definitely recommend it.

I won’t paint an my other way now!
I have tall ceilings which make it impossible to cut in. I have used other similar products but they all good up and transfer. This one is amazing! I praintef my 1500sq ft upper level in a few days with this tool. I just ordered a new pad because my kids played with it and put it in the paint without telling me. I was glad that the pads are available. The only downside I found was that It takes some practice learning how much paint to apply to the pad without getting the paint on the wheels. If paint gets on the wheels it will transfer on the other wall. To avoid this, I use a paint brush to apply the paint to the pad. Great product and well with the price!

Patience is required, but it works!
I've used similar pads before, but they only gooped up and didn't work. Then I realized I was putting too much paint on them.I got this one explicitly because I could attach it to an extension pole [to paint my stairwell] - with sparse paint, this worked suprisingly well! [Had to wipe the edge with paper towels after a bit - the more paint, the more chance to not get clean lines - so take your time!]Replacing the pad is a bit difficult - trying to pop off the old pad - I couldn't do it just with my fingers. So, I used a bigger flat head screwdriver - wedged it under the yellow and black pieces, right by the 'button', and a slight twist and it popped right off! Installing the new pad was a simple push and pop - it was on!

A bit disappointed
I was a bit disappointed that it was much smaller than I expected. But that's probably on me for not paying closer attention to the size before I ordered.

Solved a major problem!
Had to fix my paint job way up at the top of a 2-story atrium, as well as along the ceiling trim at the top of a stairwell. I found a long retracting-pole light bulb remover/ apple picker that was in the garage from 15 years ago. Fixed it easily to the handle of the device. Did a couple of practice exercises to make sure I could reach the corners, and paint around the trim of a curved Palladian window without slipping and putting paint on the window. Painted the paint onto the pad, and just did the job. Not a drop spilled! No drips. Worked very well, and I have washed out the pad to re-use. I had agonized for YEARS how to do this job. Thanks!!!

Highly recommended but read reviews first
I never leave photo reviews but these pads have been life savers in cutting in for first time DIY painters. I highly recommend them as long as you use a paint brush to apply the color onto the pads, as others have also suggested. Also don’t press them down to the wall and keep the top edge paint free to not go up on the ceiling. I highly recommend these.

No straight edge
This pad did not help at all. It was very difficult to paint a straight edge without paint oozing out the top and getting on the ceiling. Even with just floating it in the paint, I had to wipe almost all of the paint off the end that would be my “edge”. Then there wasn’t enough paint to cover the top of the wall. Very frustrating.
