Finished look isn't great
Despite following the orientation arrows on every single tile, even marking the off-cuts immediately to avoid confusion, lines between the tiles are still apparent. The product goes down easily, like a peel land stick floor. I suppose if you are setting up a rental property, or putting it down in an area where you don't particularly care that people know these are carpet tiles, you'll be happy. But if you are looking for a wall-to-wall look, you will absolutely be disappointed.EDIT: Reduced to one star. Between the finished look, and the quality of the product, I would not recommend it to any installer or DIYer. Maybe if you are carpeting the inside of your shag van...

Good product, easy to install.
I had a small room 10x11 I needed to re-carpet due to dogs destroying it. I was hesitant to do regular carpet in case there were other "accidents". Having the ability to pull up just a square to replace is very convenient. The plastic backing comes off very easily, sticks to the other tiles in the box and the box itself, so be careful un-packaging. Once the tile is laid on floor (concrete in my case) it was very difficult to pull up if misplaced, and I actually ruined a few tiles because when I tried to remove a tile to adjust it, parts of the tile stayed stuck to the floor damaging the piece and rendering it unusable. Just be very sure that when you stick it down it's exactly where you want it. I found a standard utility blade cut the tile with relative ease-(I cut from the underside with the plastic on) I used a ceramic 24" floor tile in order to make straight cuts as well. Overall the project was very easy. Be sure there is no dust/dirt/debris before install as the tile will come up/not adhere properly. I will probably have to use some adhesive in the corners of the room as the sticky doesn't seem to hold as well -however I anticipated this with a peel and stick product., and you can't really even tell- im just being picky. You can see some of the seams if you really look for them, but it really looks better than even I expected. It is soft enough for the room I used it it, I do wish it had a little thicker cushion. I was short on material because the gray actually has a pattern to it, so when you get to the edge where a full tile is not needed you might not be able to re-use some of the leftover pieces. Overall I am very happy with the product and install. Will see how it holds up over time.

Installs easily but quality and craftsmanship is lacking
I liked the easy installation. Before installing, I did review some generic installation videos on YouTube, which was helpful. However, I did not like the inconsistencies in the quality between the various boxes of carpet tiles. Some boxes contained tiles which the pile seemed thicker and thus the seams were easier to conceal. Other boxes (and I purchased 29 total boxes) contained tiles with thinner carpet pile. As a results, I do have places in my carpeted room, which show the seams.

The seams show
The seams show so much that it looks like an intentional pattern of large squares. On at least one edge of each piece, the nap did not reach the edge, guaranteeing that the seam would show. I'm a handy guy, and it wasn't me that screwed up. I put it down in a seldom used spare bedroom, and all-in-all, it will do.

Poor mfg quality
I've noticed that the far edge to which the arrow points to has missing carpet strands and when you put the edge against another pad, it does not blend properly and leaves large gaps - visible enough to make me want to tear it up. Also, when you try and trim this edge off, the same thing happens - too few strands on the edge to blend properly. Looking for a kit for repairing or adding strands back to these edges - nothing so far. I would not recommend this product unfortunatley.

Carpet squares
We put it in basement bedroom and it looks pretty good but it is thin carpet and some lines are glaring. Adhesive is pretty aggressive so if placement is wrong, you can't move it. I would have gladly paid more for higher quality if available. We had some carpet squares in our old house and hoped this would be comperable. Not.

Very easy to install
Mine are in a closet so I cannot rate the adhesion. They are sticking great in there
