1003Alpha/Organic Chemistry Basic Set

Loved this little kit! It was required for my O Chem class and the method that our teacher was suggesting had the same price but a brutal shipping that more than doubled the cost. This one was significantly more reasonable and used it the whole semester, thinking of buying more just to keep around.

Nice kit but the pieces are hard to take apart. I broke a bond off in an atom before realizing there was a little rubber tube which I believe is an aid for pulling the bonds out. Please share when this will be restocked. I want to get a back up kit for the broken pieces issue.

I am currently taking my first organic chemistry course and needed of these sets. My professor uses and recommended this set to my class. It's a really good set if you are taking organic chemistry, definitely consider buying this set if you need one.

This set is very nice. It is a bit bigger than the one for students. If you count in percentage, this one contains less orbitals. That means you can combine these two standard sets and start to built real moleculesIt could be very helpful for conformational analysis, even though it has less functionality than the stereochemistry set. Unfortunately the latter is not sold anymore.Thanks to the "Real" bond lengths it is really awesome. This company makes the best molecular models, no doubt.

They work, just don't spill them by accident during an exam, someone did that at least once during every midterm I had.

My professor recommended we buy this kit and I admittedly didn’t think I would need it much but it has been super helpful! It has a guide to tell you which pieces represent certain atoms and bonds. It really does help you visualize how atoms interact!

Was very helpful and reliable for my Organic Chemistry I and II class.
