Hi, frames these days are of many kinds and i would suggest it's best when you take it to a frame artist close by so they can temporarily put frames on it one by one which will give you an idea of exactly what you want. There are many fiber frames available in the market today which are cheaper in cost as compared to wooden frames and easy to maintain too. As far as the glass goes, I recommend you avoid it as the colors used are Oil based and is super easy to clean, unlike hand paintings where the pastel colors crack and chip off after a few years.
