Bollywood (Colouring for Mindfulness)

First, let me say that I thought I would LOVE this coloring book. It's small, has intricate detailing and some fun looking designs. All those things are completely true with this book - hence the three stars. I also thought that the paper quality would be good, but after coloring in this last night I think the paper is very absorbent. It seems like my ultra fine markers would be great, but the paper sucks up so much ink that I have to go back over some spots to get consistent color. I will probably still color in this, but it's not quite as great as I wanted it to be. The second reason only 3 stars given was because pictures are on both sides of the page, which if you use markers like me, you waste half the book. One thing I like about this book is that you can easily pull out the pages to color them.

I have other coloring pads from this company and I am very disappointed that the print is on both sides of each page and the quality of paper is poor in comparison to the other books. I want to return it but don't know if it is worth my time.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and put it into a gift basket. This was one of her favorite items in the basket. She totally loved it. It's not my thing, but for people into these adult coloring books, it's a hit! I would definitely buy it again for a friend.

When looking over the coloring pages online, I loved the designs I saw. Upon delivery, the book is petite, and the details in the designs are too small. I use Staedtler and Stabilo fineliners, and still am not satisfied. Many of the pages seem like the design is cut off, and just doesn't seem like something I would want to spend time coloring. The page designs just seem to be shrunk down and cut off at odd places. I do not recommend.

My boss gave me a similar coloring book of the same brand and my mom basically stole it she loved it so much. So I bought this one and like it even more. Good designs and quality pages. Yay for being a kid and coloring again!

I knew this book was going to be intricate... and that is fine for sometimes... I will have to do this book in doses.

Teeny tiny spaces, the lines are drawn in gray,so they disappear. Amazing paper. Sheets pull from the top, so great for lefties. Very intricate!

Fabulous patterns, but sooo intricate, some will have to be done with a magnifying glass, also, the pages just fall out when you open the book. I know it states that the pages are detachable, but it's annoying if you can't actually tip urn the pages in the book without them falling out. I've included a couple of photos to show how intricate they are, with a faber castell polychromos pencil as a scale reference. I've also included a finished picture that my 80 year old mum did. She used staedtler fine liners. The patterns are printed both sides , but the quality of the paper is pretty good, and there has been little, to no bleed through.

There is absolutely zero in her to do with Bollywood. To be truthful, it was a bit disappointing. Based on the cover I was expecting some interesting and intricate Indian designs but no, nothing even remotely what I thought. That said, a lot of the designs are simple with thick black lines - suitable for absolute beginners or children so I was also disappointed there too. There are a few designs that I would consider more advanced, but not enough for me. The paper quality is absolutely excellent, more like thin card. The pages are designed to detach cleanly and that is a bonus. Designs are double-sided so you get extra per book. I cannot comment on bleed quality as I only use pencils. Overall, great for the price but not if you are looking for something advanced.

Absolutely fantastic book! I detest the books with thick colouring lines and adore this for its intricacy. I use thin gel pens usually, they’re super vibrant and work so well with this book. Once I’m done with this one I’ll probably buy something else in the series, they’re brilliantly made!

I bought this book of adult colouring designs for my Mother. She loves them and always make a beeline for the cupboard where they are kept together with colouring pencils and felt tips.The patterns are quite varied, making use of paisley motifs a lot of the time, and a nice balance between regular geometric and flowing, nature-inspired designs.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the patterns are printed on good thick card, which means that colours don't bleed through, and that the finished design can be framed and hung up to be admired.I will definitely be buying more from this series, as Mum completes them.

Really happy with this book, good design and quantity paper, no bleed, and the had back cover is useful so I don't need to use a lap tray. Also like that the pages are easily removed without having to tear them. Excellent colouring book.

Lovely book. Nice intricate designs. So good I bought it twice! Can also use pens as long as you don’t press too hard. Double sided images.

Although the designs are really lovely, they are too small and detailed for me to enjoy. It would be a much better book if it was A4 size and then I would be able to colour them in. I was a bit disapointed with this book.

Nice surprise this book is fun to colour in. Printed on both sides which is the reason of not having its 5 stars. Different patternsal through this book, lots of intricate ones. So pens with small nibs or very sharp pencils is a must if you colour in this book.

Nice quality book with plenty of designs to colour with pens or pencils.The book has a hard back cover which is great to lean on. Pages are easily torn out which saves bleed on to the sheet below. Great illustrations and a good price.

I'm so Happy with this Book. Great present for my Neice to help with her Anxiety.There are lots of Pages. We're going to frame some of her favourite ones.

wonderful adult colouring book with intricate patterns. Great detachable sheets too. I love eastern/ asian patterns and this is great quality!

Very nice. It arrived in one day. Really good product. You can detach the sheets which makes easier coloring them.
