I guess it's meant to inspire - it just depressed me; why guys with 6% body fat would have any use for anything like this beats the heck out of me. I also ordered the WL Premium [rubber backed] Waist Trimmer Belt [B087TLNRDH] just to have another option. Because my skin has lost a lot of elasticity with age, and because I'm back on a weight control program, I bought this to provide whatever help it might provide to get things back in place. Not sure it'll help, gravity and age and all that, but it cannot hurt. High quality product. Breathable - not rubber/neoprene backed or lined. Really adjustable, easily re-positionable, and has a 2 way tightening mechanism so you don't have to struggle to stretch it in place. You center it on your back, tuck in the left side, stretch the right side over it and touch down the velcro-like tab to set it. then take hold of the 2 side straps, centered in the middle of the back, stretch them where you want them, and set the tabs. the 2 extra straps really do function to pull things in and because they emanate from the center of the back panel, it all works together to encircle your gut - in this way though, it's really more like a girdle - it pushes your excess up over the top of the belt if you've got it cinched tight. I don't really notice that the metal stays do much in the way of back support. if you're a back sleeper, you can't sleep in this - the hard rubber thing that joins everything together in the back of the belt was too lumpy for me. I switch to the B087TLNRDH when I sleep [and the difference in the 2 products is readily apparent - not bad, different].NOTE: With the deepest humility and respect, I wanted to mention that the heat generated by a waist belt is not likely to help you lose weight.; raising your core temperature a few degrees might, but this would only be possible by turning up your metabolism, in turn, only possible by taking up something like ballet and/or increasing your muscle mass - hey, ballet does both! Muscle weighs more than fat BLAH BLAH BLAH - for most of us experiencing weight gain after 2 weeks of working out is because we're hungrier after burning more calories and we're eating more to compensate. If you can work out for at least 6 weeks and not add any additional calories, you'll begin to lose some weight, you've got a surplus - eating will only add to it. if you get really good at building muscle gradually without injuring yourself, after awhile that muscle will also burn calories just to maintain itself - great catch-22 yes?

I should have bought the medium one as the large size I ordered didn't fit good on my belly. This isn't too bad a good one at this price tag. It's made in China and they can't spell security on the pouch.After a week use updating it. It rolls down in front and the silver springs on the back hurts. I would suggest all to buy a good waist brace. Don't buy a cheap one as it is not worth it just to expend your money and again buy another one in few months. Buy once but a good one which will last atleast an year.

I WOULD GIVE THIS A 00000 RATING IF THERE WAS ONE. THE STENCH OF RUBBER IS SO BAD THAT IT LEAVES THE RUBBER SMELL ANY PLACE YOU HAPPEN TO SET IT. THE WHOLE ROOM SMELLED WHEN I FIRST OPENED IT!!! DEAR LORD DO NOT PURCHASE.

I have worn it for 4 days to ensure an unbias review. First of all, the size is correct as discribed. I purchased the size L which is peefectly fitting me (36). secondly, it holds my waist very tightly. I wore it during one soccer game and two work outs, which feels really strong, and very light weight.In clusion, I highly recommend this product of you work out regularly, or if you have any injure on waist.

Love this brace. I've been looking for something like this for a very long time. The belt it's self you velcro around your waist and the extra straps have elastic to give a little more tightness and support for your back. I love the double stretch feature

The lower back support is amazing but the height at the front comes up short. I ordered this to replace the medical back brace I had to wear after two fusion surgeries. I do have a long torso so this issue may be atypical. For the money & the support it’s still a good buy.

Not liking how the back support kinda sticks into the bottom of my back area
