Awesome materials. Unfortunate design.
First impressions were good. Kind of heavy but I'm a long boarder/high speed skateboarder so I didn't care too much about that. They seemed precisely manufactured and certainly very tough. I was using these to build my 6th board, a skateboard cruiser so one of the first things I tried to do was replace the bushings with some softer ones. This is where it all went downhill. The bottom bushing sits very high on the baseplate and is tilted at an angle toward the hanger. This made it nearly impossible to fit a skate tool or socket wrench onto the kingpin nut. I tried out the stock bushings hoping they would just work out for me but they were like hard plastic mush compared to typical skater products (bones, mini logo, thunder etc.) which all have that wonderful bouncy rebound. Upon brief inspection you can see a gash on both hangers near the kingpin nut indicating that whatever was used to initially screw the nut on was forced into position. I decide to try the same route and enlisted my 220lb brother to force my skate tool onto the nut and unscrew it for me. He was successful making my board bend quite a bit and making my grip tape slip off the tail a little. When I finally removed the bushings I replaced them with mini logo medium bushings which have been a solid choice for a number of my boards and crossed my fingers hoping I would never have to unscrew those kingpin nuts ever again, but downhill quickly turned into a dive off a cliff from here. In order to get the kingpin nut on securely through the nylon lock I had to tighten them down on the bushings so tightly that those medium bushings felt like hards and were actually making the board tilt and roll off to the side. I have a concrete track (pretty much a sidewalk with all the gaps) in my backyard and tried to take it for a spin but obviously I kept turning into the lawn. It's my own backyard so by now I'm able to shred the 3 ft. wide track with a 38.5 in. longboard but couldn't travel 10 ft. on these trucks on a smaller skateboard after modifying them to my specifications. Overall these trucks seem to be made with quality metal and hardware such as the washers and nuts but the design is so flawed it's simply unusable by anyone with a mind for skateboards. I hate returning stuff. I give every product every chance I can possibly give them and I've been able to salvage many shoddy purchases and turn them into something useful and worthwhile. Unfortunately I cannot say these trucks are salvageable unless you want to pay forty dollars from some nice nuts and washers and a couple kingpin bolts. It just seems obvious that the creators of this product do not ride skateboards and did not consult with anyone who does. It's an unfortunate waste of what seems like superior metal craftsmanship and a large investment.

Bushings are absolute crap!
The factory bushings blew out just upon tightening them. I had to buy replacement doh doh bushings to even use the trucks.
