My family loves this stuff!!
We love Somersaults for snacks and the Santa Fe Salsa flavor is our favorite! It's flavorful with just a tinge of jalapeno bite to it but not much (my younger son doesn't like spicy foods yet he loves this). We've tried all of the Somersaults flavors and hands down, this is our favorite. I really love the Cinnamon flavor one too but we're not always in a 'sweet' snacking mood (usually when I am, I go for fruit). This takes the place of wanting to snack on something like 'chips' but is much healthier. For those of you with kids with peanut or tree nut allergies, Somersaults uses SEEDS and not nuts in their ingredients and last I checked, they manufacture their snacks on a peanut / tree nut free line so these portable, packaged snacks are a GREAT option for those who face these food allergies. Some of the flavors do contain milk powders so those with dairy allergies should avoid this line of snacks. The only 2 negatives are the price point - they are a bit on the expensive side but then if you compare the ingredient list with a bag of doritos, you'll understand why. You get what you pay for...Somersaults absolutely have more nutritional benefit than a bag of chips or crackers. My second 'complaint' if you will is that they are not currently using organic ingredients. With GMO foods so prevalent in our food supply (more so than most other progressive nation), some of us make a point to really try to feed our families non -GMO foods if we can't always do organic. However, I make the exception with Somersaults because I have a child with anaphylactic peanut and severe tree nut allergies and Somersaults are a safe snack for him so in our case, safety trumps non organic every time :-). I hope that they start using organic ingredients soon as I'm sure that some other company will catch on and add these delicious, crunchy snacks but will make them out of organic ingredients instead. Personally, I wish they were also gluten free but again, we make an exception here.

Fastest Office "Sell Out"
At Cyber Sprocket ([...]), we are always buying and trying new healthy-alternative snacks to offset the pounds of M&Ms, Skittles, Starburst and other assorted sugar bombs we buy every month. We've tried fruit leather (moderately popular) various trail mixes (fairly popular) and now the Somersaults Salty Pepper Crunchy Nuggets. That was a couple of weeks ago and the entire batch is gone. Everyone likes them, myself included. The one bag I took home for my wife to try was gone in 24 hours.Personally I like things like salt & pepper pistachios better, but they are more work and less filling. Salt & vinegar Cape Cod chips are also delicious, but push me even closer to looking like Homer Simpson. These Somersaults are a great alternative. We're going to check out some of the other flavors next.

Fantastic snack for those with nut allergies
I am severely allergic to all tree nuts and peanuts. I have been thrilled the past few years at the proliferation of products that are now available for people like me. These are an excellent snack. They are crunchy and just salty enough. Unlike some other snacks, these are not dry (common to nut-free snacks). Also, they seem to hold up well to some light handling. There is not too much wasted product crushed in the bottom of the bag (another common problem with nut-free items). Each piece is about the size of a quarter. Although a serving is listed as fifteen of these, I find that five or six will usually satisfy my craving for something salty and crunchy to eat.

6-Pack Somersaults are just as AWFUL as the giant bag of them. In short: recipe has changed for good to somethng far worse.
Ack, I just got my 6-pack of Somersaults moments ago. Wasted no time ripping open one of the bags to see if the product inside was ANY better than the last time I tried them. Nope. In fact, they are identical: puny, nearly burnt, a bit smaller than a nickel in size. Just pathetic. My last bag was the GIANT one, and I figured it may have been just the "rejects"? But apparently, Somersaults has permanently changed their recipe here to something barely edible.Question for the company: did your head baker LEAVE about 1.5 years ago? Cuz that's when your recipe changed and the end product is just so pathetic, I honestly wonder who buys these anymore.UPDATE 11/9/16: I have actually been enjoying the taste of these again in the past few months - so perhaps the recipe has changed for the better? BUT! My recent OnTrac delivery of 6 packages of Somersaults arrived in a box that looked like Godzilla stomped on it. No wonder the cookies inside ALL of the bags are crumbled to powder. NOT HAPPY.

Amazing product, but was delivered horribly.
I love these, and I enjoy them as a daily snack! However, I received my item today and the box was already opened and didn't contain the right amount of packages that was said to be delivered to me. Im disappointed because I won't be able to enjoy the amount of packages I was planning on, and because I was given false product information. Other than that, I highly suggest trying these out, just make sure you're getting what you're paying for.

not as great as I'd imagined
I read about Somersaults on various blogs, and people really seemed to like them. For a snack, the list of ingredients seemed pretty healthy (healthier than chips or pretzels, for sure), so I ordered a box of 6 pouches. They aren't bad, but definitely wouldn't be my first choice as a crunchy snack. They have a chocolatey taste and a nice crunch, but don't keep my satisfied for long. The chocolate taste is a a bit artificial. I would try another flavor, but maybe start wtih one pouch from the health food store to see if I like them enough to order an entire box!

Winner in the healthy team snack competition!
Okay, there was no competition. But that doesn't mean that these babies didn't fly fast! Specifically the Somersault Dutch Cocoa flavored snacks are the most popular item in my mini snack bar in my office. My team sneaks in all the time to eat them, even stealing them when I'm out for a meeting, and now I have no more left! I wish the bags were a little smaller, because I often can't finish a whole bag. Other than the fact that there are like 20 pieces in a bag, these snacks are the winner of the healthy team snack competition! (That I didn't have, but you get the point.)
