These colored pencils are a pleasure to use. The pigments are rich and vibrant, producing bold colors even with light pressure. These pencils have the most wonderful writing tip. Great for adult colorbooks. The colors are clear and sharp. Able to leave both a hard stern or soft light look to your art. The holder rolls out nicely and seems to be very durable. The kids are sure to have lots of fun both toting these around and using them for their art work.

So if you have kids, you know the drill. You buy a box of crayons/colored pencils/markers/whatever and you struggle to get them to care—to keep the box in one piece, to keep each of them *in* the box, to keep track of where they and the box are, and so on. This is the perfect antidote to that problem. Unlike a tin or a cardboard box, these pencils are kept in a substantial package that is tough, flexible, and will stand up to use, abuse, and carryings-every-where without denting/ripping/etc. Just as importantly, there are individual spots for every pencil and for the pencil sharpener. This means that it's obvious to a kid (whose ability to track details like the size of the remaining space in a box or the original count of a pencil set is limited) just when there's one missing that they need to look around and pick up. Long story short, these pencils and the case they're in are great quality and a genius idea, perfect for helping kids old enough to have their own but not old enough to be good at pencil management yet to keep their set together and in good working order. Would buy again, definitely.

This is so stinking cute! It is much smaller than I thought, but perfect for travel. I actually gave it my 8 yr old daughter because she loved it so much and it looked like it was made for her. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the quality of the pencils when coloring is not the best. You have to do a few layers to get a somewhat deep color. It is perfect for kids though...for me, I like a softer core so I can press down harder if I want to make it richer in color. UPDATE...Judt make sure you sharpen colored pencils before use. The color will be richer. I think there is a waxy film on it before sharpening.

I like how they are all color coronated. I wish my closet looked like these coloring pencils, but instead with my clothes. I was inspired by the way the colors are situated that I liked my coffee mug collection in the same pattern. These pencils write smoothie, so smoothie. Much better than crayons. Sometimes I color so much my knuckles rub on the paper causing them to bleed cause I don't want to waste one bit of color pencils. I get punished if I waste pencils so it's better to use them down as low as possible. This kit comes with an eraser which is helpful when I get nervous or scared and I draw out of the lines. I can easily erase my mistake without getting in trouble. This kit reminds me of pencils Indiana Jones carried. I sometimes dream of visiting far away lands. Since I will never ever be able to go, at least I can draw them.

THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS but theres another little snap on the reverse of the pouch which enables the child to wrap the pencil case around their waist, pencils facing out, and snap it to secure. This is a huge game changer for church and other situations where they are seated with no table but want to color. I would give ten stars if possible!
