Terrific encrypted ext.drive option at great price -- good customer service too!
After spending hours trying(unsuccessfully) to properly install an encrypted partition on my PC (Win10), first with Veracrypt and then Bitlocker, a friend suggested looking into an external pre-secured drive. After studying a number of different ones in the price range I wanted to spend, decided on this GODO 500GB. Not only was the price good, but when I struggled with my initial set up they responded promptly to my email and I was on my way. It is simple to use and perfect for my uses. Feeling much better now that I have a place where I can store all my sensitive data.

unit did not work.
My computer did not recognize the drive. Called Amazon, transferred to tech support and they knew less than me. Wasted an hour on the phone and ended up returning it for a refund. Will purchase a different brand. First time I had a problem with anything from Amazon. The refund was handled professionally and quickly-that was appreciated.

Easy to set up and use
I think this is the best password protect usb on the market because of ease of use and cost.

good drives
I bought one of these for home and one for job. They perform very well. The only thing what I had to do is to reformat one of them because it was not seen by Windows 10. Since then everything works fine. I recommend these inexpensive and solid drives.

Failed right after return period expired
Worked ok until the day after I could return for a refund, now it's an Unknown USB device. Updated all drivers, did every trick I could find to no avail. Vendor has no customer service or tech support that I can find. My fault for jumping on a cheap product without better research.

Product as described. Easy to set up passcode and reformat to use as large drive.

A very poor product.
Plugged into a computer, not recognized. Tried two other computers, same thing. The software is either dead or broken. Imagine if I had owned this for a year or so and it did that. A very poor product.

Quit working after 2 days
Set up was easy. Worked for two days and now will not unlock.

The password part is pretty cool but it disconnects from my computer every 5 minutes:(

Safe. Secure. Easy.
I wanted something with a relatively small capacity but that would be completely secure for taking extremely personal data on the road with me. I’m very happy with the results so far with this drive. It was super easy to set up my own pin, and is really simple to just plug in, unlock and use. I do a lot of invoicing and keeping records for my business and I wanted something that would be a backup for my home machine, but also something I can securely take on the road with me to present private documents and presentations. You can’t put a price on safety but apparently for £100 you can!

No se puede utilizar con windows to go.Al no tener su propia batería, no da tiempo a desbloquear el disco en el escaneado que hace la bios para buscar los posibles arranques.Existen pendrives que al tener su propia batería, son capaces de desbloquear la memoria antes de enchufarlo.

Gut mit einem kleinen Haken.
Festplatte wirkt hochwertig, und funktioniert auch ordnungsgemäß.Einziger Nachteil ist, das die Festplatte sich automatisch nach 3 - 5 Minuten aus loggt.Man muss sich dann ständigwieder mit seinem Passwort einloggen.Diese Zeit kann man leider auch nicht verändern.
