Couldn't be happier!!
General Use Observations: We bought this bed about 10 days ago, but wanted to wait a little while to fully experience the mattress before reviewing the product to make sure we are truly satisfied with it. So far we have no complaints about it at all, and both my husband and I look forward to crawling in bed every night! He says I wake up less during the night, rolling over or trying to get comfortable. He and I both are no longer waking up with any soreness or aching. We are both side sleepers, and we have found that we can practically stay in the same position all night and not wake up feeling sore or achy from sleeping on that side for too long. Unpacking: It came in a tall box, maybe 4 or 5 feet long, about 2.5 ft sq wide, and weighed about 65 lbs. When we opened the box, it was rolled up (top to bottom) and wrapped in a couple layers of plastic that were vacuum sealed. Once we broke into the vacuum sealed inner layer of plastic, the mattress immediately began to expand. We cut all of the plastic away, unrolled the mattress, and set it on the bed. Within 4 or 5 hours it had expanded from maybe 4in. thick to about 10 or 11in. thick, which was most of its height. By the next day or two, it had completely expanded and filled up all of the space inside the beautiful cover. (The photo was taken the night we unpacked it, maybe 2-3 hours afterward) Chemical Smell: Everyone (including myself before purchasing) seems to be worried about the strong chemical smell that can be associated with memory foam beds. I have to say, once we opened the box, and cut open the plastic I did not immediately notice a chemical smell of any kind. After we finished unpacking it and set it up to expand on our bed frame, we shut the door and left it alone for a few hours. When I went back into the bedroom hours later, I did notice the smell for the first time, but by no means was it intolerable. It does smell a little bit chemical, but it's not a strong-fumes type of chemical smell, like that of kitchen & bathroom cleaners, bleach, etc. It isn't anywhere near that strong or that potent. After more than a week of use, I'd say the smell is completely gone now, but it didn't really bother us in the first place. Comfort Level: It is definitely a firm mattress, but not uncomfortably so. When I first sat on it, I began to immediately wonder if it was too firm. However, before I could really finish that thought I realized I was slowly sort-of melting into it and the material was conforming to me. There's no "push-back" feeling like spring-coiled mattresses, which is what we had before. Also it's much more dense than cheaper generic "their brand" versions found in locally-owned-type mattress stores. My parents have one of those types, a generic brand of memory foam mattress, that's essentially a giant magic-eraser-feeling sponge (and as light as one too). Hers is semi-comfortable, but is still nothing compared to this Dynasty mattress, and the cost difference between the two isn't even that extreme - probably only $150-$200. Considering this mattress was about $440, the extra money is WELL WORTH it. Temperature: Neither my husband nor I have found that we get hot during the night on this mattress. It was a concern of ours, since the mattress material isn't made up of natural materials and we assumed it wouldn't "breathe" well. However, the cooling technology they've infused in this model seems to really be worth it. My husband always goes to bed feeling hot, and I always go to bed feeling cold, so I was more concerned about him getting hot during the night. So far that has not been an issue for either of us. Included Pillows: We both have tried using them. They are comfortable for generic use, like if you want to use it on the couch for extra support (because they are both pretty firm), but for sleeping on it at night, I don't think either of us like them very much. They were free, so we aren't complaining about them really. It's always good to have extra pillows around the house for guests and memory foam pillows aren't that cheap, generally. These are maybe too dense, and maybe even too thick, as I've found when I have tried using it at night, my head is angled upward when laying my head on it. It's not necessarily uncomfortable --I've used worse pillows-- but it's not as good as the memory foam pillows we already had, with cooling gel pockets on one side. Those are all of the things I wanted to know before making our purchase. Hopefully my information helps some of you potential buyers out there who are looking at this mattress. My husband did find this mattress brand is rated highly all over various mattress rating sites (not just on Amazon). We really couldn't be any happier with it!!

by far the best mattress and investment I have ever touched
I will periodically come back to add more to this review. Let me first start off by saying that we just received this mattress; everything in this post will be from a high level and is meant to show potential buyers the clearest picture of what they may be getting themselves into...I can promise it won't be a disappointment. We received this mattress on Monday after having to go pick it up at fedex; this is not recommended as this box weighs 90lbs, is about 5.5 feet long, and a foot square in the cross section. This package was also 2 weeks late; this is not to be unexpected as it comes from overseas and is subject to customs and port traffic. With that said, the vendor did do a nice job communicating and making up for frustrations due to shipping. Please be aware that your mattress is compressed and coiled during shipping. What this means is that the mattress looks like a very long fruit roll-up and the mattress is initially only an inch or so thick. This worried me a bit and I questioned my logic for purchasing this mattress; don't let it question yours. The mattress expanded to about 8" thick in about 30 minutes and fully expanded from there within another 8 hours. I would not advises sleeping on it until at least 48 hours as the corners and other small areas can take the longest to expand. I also assisted the mattress by pulling up on the fabric cover periodically (essentially allowing the mattress to expand easier) and massaged areas that I felt where having problems...this seems to have helped dramatically because what you are doing is pushing air back into the mattress (something that was pushed out during the compression phase of packaging). The pillows were even worse off than the mattress; these looked like sheets and were coiled so tightly in the center of the mattress that all air was extracted from the mattress. These puffed to their full size within 8 hours; don't worry everything will return to it's full size with the power of atmosphere (air). My previous mattress was a 1800 dollar pillow top mattress that was extra plush so naturally I was a little worried when I read that people thought this mattress felt like concrete. I am unsure as to where they came up with that example and am really worried that they possibly slept on their mattress too soon and did not allow enough air into the mattress. If you do not allow the air to penetrate the mattress fully, you could very well get a hard and stiff bed as you will essentially have foam on foam instead of foam on air. Our first nights expereince sleeping on the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Yes the bid is firm but the bed gives way exactly where it needs to and no where else; fyi, this is what you want as it keeps your spine in line, and takes all of the pressure off of your body. It is not firm in the sense that it bothered me though; the bed actually felt 100 times better than my extra plush pillow top mattress. I slept so well that i woke up so confused because something was missing; what was missing was all of the pressure on my back and body (this is a welcome absences btw). I slept comfortably as well; not hot, not cold, just perfect temp (and I get hot very easily). The pillows are excellent and cradle your head just as well as the mattress cradles the body. They are thin but designed this way on purpose...if you had a thicker mattress your head would sink in and suffocate you...not a fun way to go. The motion isolation of this bed is incredible as well. For those of you that want a King size, I can't blame you because I did to, but this is overkill and not needed on a mattress like this (unless you want 3 people+ in your bed, i don't). What I think would be a better investment is the motion platform and I would really like to purchase one of these. In regards to value; This is the single most important aspect that I considered during my decision making on this and other beds. Let be real here, the average mattress is not cheap. Take into consideration that the average mattress also only lasts a good 4 years if you are lucky (they really last much longer but you have to tolerate issues) and the dollars add up over time. This is why I started looking at sleep numbers and memory foam mattresses due to longevity. Through much research, I determined that these mattresses don't last long enough to offset their cost; sure they last 10 years but you could purchase a couple innerspring mattresses and be cheaper and better off than purchasing a memory foam or sleep number What really would be the holy grail would be a cheap memory foam mattress; Sealy and serta have their own brands but with horrible reviews. Through my search I read thousands of reviews and finally found this gem. Ignore the fact that it is made in another country, that it is extremely cheap compared to a tempurpedic, and that it would be impossible to sleep in it until you have it (thus making returns a pain). You could literally buy this mattress once every 2 years, for 10 years, and still be at only half the cost of a similar tempurpedic. Think this means a degraded quality? Think again; the quality in this mattress is top notch and could easily last half the length of time of a tempurpedic from initial review. Don't let these other vendors tell you that it is complicated or expensive to make these mattresses because it simply isn't. It is a mixture of chemicals that are sprayed over and over until a mattress is formed. The process is not complex and many videos are on the internet of them being made. The cost difference between this and a tempurpedic is pure profit (probably much less than the cost of this one even as this company has to turn a dime too) . It is also much more comfortable than a tempurpedic ( I have slept in several ). I hope this helps...I would be willing to answer questions. At this point, I am hopeful to post another review or revision in a month, 6 months, and a year. We will see how well my memory holds up though.

DynastyMattress Cool Breeze (King and Twin) UPDATE
I usually don't give 5 star reviews. The product really has to be quite special for that... and this mattress fit the bill. My husband and I were on the lookout for a new mattress for over 6 months. We were sick and tired of our mattresses basically failing within 5 years.. even with the 10 year warranties which ended up not covering anything that actually broke. I wanted something more like a sleep number bed, but my husband was really leaning toward a foam bed. I had heard that foam beds were uncomfortable and hot. Most of my friends who had gotten foam beds in the past, had returned them within 3 months. So admittedly, I went into buying this bed with a bit of a bad attitude. What I like about this bed. It is really quite comfortable! I am one for a firmer type of mattress. Granted, I don't want to sleep on a board, it should have some give, but I don't want to sink down into it. This mattress was perfect. It conforms to your body, but you definitely don't 'sink'. It was much more firm than I thought it would be. I will say, I used to wake up a bit stiff and since getting this bed, I don't anymore. Another thing that is great about this mattress is that you do NOT get hot in it. Again, one of the main complaints I had heard over and over about other foam mattresses was how hot they were. Not so with this one. My husband gets very hot at night and he has not had any issue with this bed being hotter than any other mattress we've owned. Some other things I was very happy with was... We used our regular box springs underneath and that hasn't effected the quality of this bed either. It is a true to size king sized mattress. I liked that all our sheets were able to fit over the mattress (i.e. the thickness of the mattress although quite thick wasn't so thick that I had to go out and buy new extra-depth type sheets). Then there was the price! We did a lot of comparison shopping and the price compared to other foam mattresses (along with traditional type mattresses) really couldn't be beat! Lastly, I loved how this was delivered and how easy it was to just put on the bed. I thought it was a bit heavy, but my husband says it's no heavier than any other mattress. I also liked that we got two pillows out of the same foam as well (a nice little bonus). One thing that really bothered me when we first got this mattress was the smell. Now, the manufacturer does say to 'air it out' for a number of days and the smell should disappear. Frankly, I smelled the odor for quite a long time and was worried that it wouldn't go away. My husband smelled it too, but after about a week he said he couldn't smell it anymore. I, however, smelled it for a good month afterward. Granted it eventually totally faded away, but was still there for a lot longer than I anticipated. Overall, this was an A+ purchase and one we have not regretted in the least. It's very comfortable, not hot, and was priced right! I will note here again, this mattress is more FIRM than I think most people would imagine a foam mattress to be. It does 'break in' a little over time, but it's still firm. Also, the odor will eventually go away, but it takes a little longer than the manufacturer says (at least that's been our experiences). We have had this mattress now for about 9 months and have really been happy with it. We actually ended up getting a twin sized version of this mattress for one of our children (whose mattress had pretty much died). She, too, has been really happy with it. If we need another mattress in the future, this will be our 'go to' choice. UPDATE: None of our last 4 spring mattresses lasted over 7 years. After 6 years we are looking into replacing this mattress with the same model. The spring mattresses cost 2 to 3 times as much as this mattress so I have no issue purchasing this new mattress every 6 years. I do recommend rotating the mattress once a year. I probably would have gotten another year or two out of it if I had kept rotating it. Overtime the mattress does become noticeable less firm.

Firmer Than Expected
I've had this mattress for about a month now, and I really do love it! It's so much better than my old pillow top mattress, and I haven't been waking up with back pain anymore! I have a lot of trouble sleeping, to the point where I would actually dread going to bed because I knew it would mean a night of tossing and turning, not really sleeping well at all, and waking up with pain and numbness. Since switching from a pillow top to memory foam, almost all those areas are gone! I sleep better, wake up refreshed, and have no more back pain and less numbness in my hands. In fact, my boyfriend even told me I've been in such a deep sleep lately that when he goes to bed after me he can't wake me up enough to have me move over! That's saying a lot for someone with such severe sleep problems that any tiny noise used to wake me up! Before ordering this mattress, my boyfriend and I went to a mattress store and tried out all kinds of mattresses, from standard spring (blah), pillow tops (ouch), tempurpedic (hated how it felt like you were setting in cement), standard memory foam (nice), and cool gel memory foam (amazing!). Our favorite was the coolsense memory foam mattress by Sealy Posturepedic, but it would set us back over $2k, and we didn't have that. So we searched online for something similar: a queen sized memory foam mattress with cool gel foam, and this one came back as the closest match with the best reviews for about a quarter of the price of the Sealy! After sleeping on the Dynasty Cool Breeze for a month, I noticed a huge difference between this mattress and my old KingKoil pillow top: I sleep better (I used to toss and turn all night on the pillow top), and I wake up without back pain! I used to wake up all stiff and sore after (restlessly) sleeping on my pillow top. So, HUGE improvement there! However, this memory foam mattress is definitely FIRM. Not, however, like the tempurpedic, where it's hard as a rock when you get on it and your body slowly sinks into the mattress like you're setting into in wet cement, but just on the firmer side. I do wish it was a little bit softer, but it's still comfy. Though I should note that my boyfriend doesn't think it's too hard. He thinks it's perfect! It's summer, and we're in a heat wave, and I still sleep with a light quilt at night and haven't overheated at all, and I hear most memory foam mattresses trap body heat, which we definitely didn't want! However, it isn't as cool as the Sealy CoolSense, which felt instantly cool the moment you lay down on it. But, again, I didn't have an issue with overheating, so I'm happy with it. The pillows I didn't like at all. I'm a stomach sleeper, and they're just too firm and too thick for me, and not a pillow you can cuddle with. My boyfriend loves them though. He sleeps on his side, and he loves how cool they feel under his head. So, personal preference on those I suppose. Sorry for the lengthy review, but hope it helped! In a nutshell, I love this mattress! It's a comfortable mattress with a gorgeous cover for a very reasonable price! I would definitely recommend this product :)

Extremely comfortable and keeps me cool
Iโve had my mattress for nearly 10 years now! I need a fairly firm mattress as Iโm a belly sleeper. This is the most comfortable mattress Iโve ever had!! I sleep amazingly on this bed and it keeps you cool unlike other memory foam mattresses. Iโm always hot when I sleep but the mattress keeps me cools in the hot summer months. This is an excellent quality mattress that has lasted so long and still keeps its firmness!!!

The best deal!
We LOVE this mattress! My wife and I took a chance about 5 years ago and purchased two 12-Inch Twin XL Deluxe Memory Foam Mattress for Adjustable Bed Base Dynasty Mattresses for our master bedroom. We were extremely apprehensive about purchasing a mattress online but fell in love immediately with our new beds and consider them amongst the very best values in home furnishing. The mattresses we bought 5 years ago are every bit as good today as they were new and we expect many more years of comfortable sleeping! So when it came time to upgrade our guest bedroom, we didn't hesitate to return to this brand. Shipping was fast (to Alaska no less!) and the mattress arrives tightly rolled inside a cardboard box that seems far to small to hold a queen sized mattress and two pillows. The box is heavy! I managed to get it upstairs by myself but another person would have made it much, much easier. The mattress starts to expand as soon as you unroll it and reaches about 90% loft after an hour. Although the manual suggests that it is fine to lay on the mattress during initial "expansion," we allowed it to expand for 72 hours before we started using it. The included cover is quite nice. I really appreciate the suede-esque corner patches that "grab" the fitted sheet and prevents it from sliding off a corner. The quilted top is fancy and looks really high-end, but the small indentations and ridges the pattern creates are noticeable through our sheets. Not uncomfortable at all, but it took a night to get used to it. The cover also conceals the "craftsmanship" of the mattress itself, which is essentially a series of layers of different foams all glued together. When you run your hand along the edge of the mattress, you can easily feel the different "layers" of foam because the edges don't perfectly meet. This is not apparent with the cover on, nor is it an issue with sheets on the bed. I didn't notice this on our old Dynasty mattress but since it is invisible and doesn't affect the bed in any way, I'm not marking it down as a defect. The bed itself is supple yet firm and supportive. This is not the right bed for someone who wants a cushiony pillow-top mattress. It is a fairly firm memory foam bed that provides great support. I can't speak to the longevity of this specific mattress, but our old Dynasty Mattress is going strong after 5 years of daily use with no signs of wear, sagging or degradation so I expect the same here. The included pillows are really nice if you like memory foam pillows; we use them for our shams as they are a little too supportive/firm for our tastes. They do seem like really nice pillows. Some commenters have noticed chemical smells/off-gassing. We experienced it as well and find it to be pretty standard with memory foam. We allowed the mattress to expand/loft for 3 days without any bedding and the smell was noticeable in the room. I'd occasionally get whiffs for about a week after that, but now it seems pretty neutral, or at least a non-issue for us. Our house is unabashedly a Dynasty Mattress home. Incredible quality at a fraction of the price of name-brands. This is our third Dynasty Mattress purchase and we will continue to buy and recommend Dynasty to anyone in need of a good night's sleep. Highly recommended.

Great mattress so far and a great price.
Its been a little over a month so far and I love it. My wife and I moved from our large house in Florida to a 1br apt in Chicago (I know it seems backwards. But Chicago is amazing) and we had to downsize our mattress. for the last several years we have slept on a very nice King size pillow top. Its a great mattress and we have always enjoyed it. However over the summer we had to go to Nashville for a month on business and we slept on a foam mattress in the hotel for over 30 days. we were both very pleased with the way it felt so when we had to go mattress shopping we added foam to our list of possibles. We went to a mattress store here in Chicago and after doing their "sleep test" we found we really liked the foam. But it was a mattress store and the price was $3000!! Are they kidding me? There is no way I could spend $3000 for a mattress. I just cant, The markup has to be ridiculous. So I went online. This was a bit of a risk. how do you know you will like it when you cant try it out? But we read the reviews and figured since they had a money back guarantee we would take a shot. We didn't have any of the chemical smell that some people mention. Maybe a smell of some sort but anything new has a smell so that's not really an issue. But certainly not anything strong or unpleasant. Its not hot or at least i don't think so. I sleep cold at night so i always have blankets on me. I don't feel like the mattress is adding any extra heat. Its winter here so maybe i will know more during the summer when we are not running heat and have two blankets on. We have only had it since end of October so cant say how well it holds up. Hopefully I will remember this and can report back in a year or so. I hope this review helps. PROS: Its very comfortable. we wanted a firm mattress and this is. Its not like sleeping on a rock but its firm. However for us it is not at all uncomfortable. this is of course a matter of preference so you you may have a different experience. the price was very low as compared to the mattress store. For the price thought we couldn't go wrong with trying it. it was delivered on time so we had it when we moved in. it fit perfectly in our new Ikea bed frame CONS: its heavy when delivered. because it comes rolled up its was delivered wrapped in cardboard. So it winds up like trying to lift a 80lb 5ft burrito (hows that for a visual). Hard to get your arms around difficult to carry. My wife said the FedEx guy had some trouble getting it out of the truck, the edges do not have support in the same way that a metal rimmed mattress does. So when you sit on the very edge it collapses as you would imagine. This isn't a big deal for me. I noticed it the first day or so then just adjusted. But if you are the type to sit on the edge of the bed and talk on the phone or put shoes on then its a bit problematic. takes 72 hours for it to fully puff up. Again this isnt a big deal but more of warning. if you throw your old mattress out and then figure you will open this and start sleeping that night it will be an issue. i feel like after the 2nd day it was probably fully inflated but we waited the full 72 and no problems. my kind size had built in fabric handles to help lift when you move. This does not have that. so when we do move and have to move the mattress to a new place its going to be a bit of a chore. but that why we hire movers.

UPDATED*******Firm if you're used to a pillow top....but REALLY helped my back pain.
*****Update - Okay, I had to come back and update this review. I've had the bed for a few months now and I totally love it. At first this bed is really firm but after a few weeks it's starts breaking in. The side of the bed that I sleep on is totally soft and comfortable now. I need to rotate the bed so I sleep on the other side. The two sides are so different now that it seems like two different beds! Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it gets too soft to the point where you're sleeping in a hole or the bed is indented...I just meant that it's not like a brick wall like it is at first. Do not freak out if at first the bed seems to firm for you. It will get softer as it's broken in. Believe me, I thought I had made a $600 mistake at first. Man, am I glad I didn't send it back. I hope this helps. I gave this mattress 3 stars but may change it in time. I got this bed because I was tired of waking up with severe back pain every morning from my pillow top mattress. I noticed that I didn't have back ache when I slept on the much harder sofa. I read that this mattress was somewhat on the firm side but still, the majority of the reviews are 4 or 5 stars. I've had the mattress for one week now. On the day I opened it, it seemed to expand enough to sleep on it that very first night. There was a slight chemical smell the first night or two, but it was nothing unbearable...kind of like a week after you painted a room....no big deal. The first night I unpacked it, I slept on it. My first impression was that it was VERY firm. I did a lot of tossing and turning that night and kept waking up. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't wait the 3 days for it to fully expand. One thing I did notice was that no matter how much I tossed and turned, I didn't wake up with a back ache. The 2nd and 3rd nights I slept better and the bed seemed to be slightly more comfortable...maybe it helps to let it expand fully. I've notice a huge relief in my back pain. The bed still seems just a little bit too firm, but I have mixed feeling because it of how much it's helped my back. I've read that it does get a little bit softer with time. I'll check back in and update in a couple of months.
