Great for a beginner such as myself! The clubs are the best you can get for the money, and the bag has room for more clubs and balls that inevitably end up at the bottom of a pond.

The set is good for beginner

Bought this set for my son in law who has only played golf once, but really enjoyed it! He wanted to start golfing but didn't have anything of his own so I decided to purchase this set for him, for Christmas. The clubs seems sturdy and well made. The Golf bag is pretty nice also. We know they are budget clubs so we weren't expecting Callaway quality. However, my husband (who used to work at a golf course for many years) actually thought the clubs were pretty solid for the price. I will update my review with their performance once my son in law has played a round of golf with them.

Good, cheap starter set. Played the clubs a few times then upgraded. Definitely an off brand to get you started. 3 wood is actually not bad, as is the Pitching Wedge. Best thing about the set was the bag.

Great product for the money! The “3 wood” is def more of a hybrid so will need to purchase one of those!

Bought this for my Father in Law's birthday. He loves the clubs, but the irons have some real heft to them. I'm sure that speeds up the swing, but they feel really awkward. The driver was amazing. I got to take a few swings with it and it gave me about a fifteen yard increase on average.

Ordered the Vertex Men's Golf set for our four Grandson's (ages 13, 12, 12 10) for Christmas and was very pleased with quality and appearance of the clubs and the bag. Very impressed with the driver. We have not had a chance to practice this year due to the cold weather, so I can't comment on their playability.
