Duetto Dual-Sensor Complete Aquarium Auto Top Off ATO

I have had this on my take for only 1 week so far, but I love it already.I have a 10 gallon tank for reservoir, and this system is on my 90 gallon frag tank. It took maybe 5 mins to install and plug in. It mounts nice to stand or wall with screws (not supplied) maybe a heavy duty Velcro would work as well.It does have an “alarm” on it. If it senses a problem the alarm will go off. I’ve had it go off once and it was because of air bubbles built up against the sensor. Cleared those and it went right back to working. The mounting bracket will not work if you have a rimmed tank I’m afraid. It’s much smaller than I expected and I mounted it on a single pane of glass in my sump.As of right now, I would recommend. I don’t foresee any future issues but will do my best to update this review if I ever encounter them.

This thing is amazing. It’s so compact and so simple to install. I installed in in 30 minutes including the time it took to drill and plumb the hose into my “reservoir” to make it as clean as I could. The sensors are very sensitive to water level, which is great because the failsafe will stop on the dime. It’s also great that it gives audible alerts to the reservoir being empty, or there being a blockage, etc. Apparently it also has a feature that will detect when the pump has been on too long and it will turn it off. The hose is nice and durable, the controller is idiot-proof, and the system is sharp. Overall, don’t go spending hundreds on an ATO when this one is perfect for a fraction of the money!

I have never used an ATO on a tank before and after doing some research I settled on this one. So far it's been great and has kept my tank at the level I have the sensor set to. The only issue I can think of is if you use a protein skimmer if your skimmer has a height adjustment valve to control the water level when you increase the water level it pulls in more water and causes the ATO to add water. I've learned to anticipate this and move the sensor a bit lower and that works just fine. Overall I'm very pleased and am ordering another one for my other tank.

I've been using this ATO for 2 years. Took two years for the pump to go bad, and my tank loses about half a gallon to evaporation every day, so it runs a decent amount. Sensor is still good. The annoying bit is that the port for the pump is a non-standard size and VERY hard to find pumps that fit into it. I've even tried to get various adapters or wire my own plugs and even when they fit the ID and OD of female port on the device, the plug will be too short to fit in. Extremely annoying and bad design that seems intended to make you buy their pumps.

This ATO has malfunctioned on me and overfilled my tank and given my floor water damage as a result. I had 2 $8 plastic water bottle gravity ATOs that worked just fine (even better in fact) and decided to try this ATO out purely due to aesthetics. Clearly, it doesn't work if it can't even stop pumping water correctly. This was a colossal waste of money and I highly recommend against getting this product. To make matters even worse, I ran this product on my nano tank and ever since I added it the salinity has been swinging absolutely wildly because of it. 0/10 so unbelievably terrible.

This little unit is a great little auto top off for any aquarium. It is very simple to set up and it works great. I run this on all three of my tanks and haven't had a single issue with them. Will use these on future tanks.

Very satisfied. Half the cost of Tunze, and works great. Some other reviews mentioned 10 second shut off time being an issue causing over filling . This is an ATO that should be set up to a very low GPH pump. The 10 second time is not an issue at all. The pump included works great. The timed safety feature works as advertised. You can spend twice as much and get the Tunze with the float valve back-up, but for the value, this is great.

I own two of these on two different size tanks. Simply put, they work. It takes the guess work out of my top-off. I've put hundreds of gallons through them and neither has quit. Everyone knows stability is key in reef keeping. This makes saline stability as stable as you can in terms of top-off. Setup couldn't be easier.
