It had tricky and good puzzles in maths. It would be worth buying and it would help us get off our screens.

Must try for anyone. If felt like a child in some puzzles. Some are really fascinating puzzles

1. Good book for basic level puzzles.2.Middle school grade students can find it interesting3. People are using this book for the last 20+ years. Engineering students used to practice this book for campus interviews in IT companies at that time. Scenario would have changed completely now4. I had read this as grown up earlier. so i found it basic one but it is very good for school grades

Nothing special that puzzles you. Basic puzzles only for entry level or beginners.

I'm very happy on receiving this book. I'm a big fan of the genius Mrs. Shakuntala Devi.

You would have come across at least one of the questions ( or a variation) from this book, if you have given interviews at major software firms. That's how classic this book is. This book was released first (it seems) in 1979. Trust me, you will not regret the purchase. Many of the puzzles are really nerve wracking. :)

Its really good book

Für mich eine echte Enttäuschung. Die Rätsel sind lieblos beschrieben, und zum Teil wird ignoriert, dass eine andere Lösung als die von der Autorin intendierte möglich ist. Klarer Fehlkauf.

I had this puzzles book way back in 2003 in my final year of engineering. I used it to prepare for placement quizzes. Shakuntala Devi is a well known Maths genius in India, and this book by her is great for building analytical thinking. The puzzles are very well thought out and are fun to solve. I recently bought this book as a gift to my wife who was looking for a good way to pass time. I hope she loves it as well!

Entertaining and exciting collection of puzzles. Good book !
