Huge! Super sharp. Good weight, very chic look and even comes in a gift box-type package. As someone who is not snobby or particular about brands, I find the price point to be a bit steep, even for such great quality, but if you're looking to spend a lot of money to last a long time, I have no doubt these knives will sustain for many years.

The packaging and presentation of these knives alone was very luxurious and presents well if being as a gift. The knives, when put to the test on some ribs, fajitas, and steak, did not disappoint. They are quite sharp and cut so smoothly. The grip feels high quality and looks quite beautiful. I do appreciate that the knives came with a cover for each blade, but please take caution as it is slightly difficult to slide it into its cover (as it is more like a leather or suede-like slip) and it is easy for knife to miss its entry / potentially cit your finger.

Thankfully no one was stabbed by the knife sticking out of the package! They are insulated well in the box, but the box was only wrapped in a thin plastic shipping sleeve. This definitely needed a secondary box to protect the knives. The knives do seem to be decent quality. Pleasantly surprised to see they are made with German steel. They are heavyweight and comfortable to hold. The sleeves are good to have, but are hard to slip on and off. They also slip through the top making it easy to stab yourself. As expected, they are extremely sharp. Had no problem slicing through a filet of salmon. It’s great it comes with the slicing and boning knife. And the fork is an added bonus! Glad to have these as part of my set and would make a really nice gift for someone with how nicely it’s packaged.

This set made me gasp when I opened it, it is absolutely stunning in person. The packaging is top tier. The knives are absolutely sharp and of superior quality. This is definitely worth it, this would work really well as a gift. The knife set includes 12" butcher carving knife,7" boning knife and 7" meat fork. Everything you need for slicing brisket, turkey, ribs, pork, and more. The carving knife and boning knife each come with a protective sheath for safe and convenient storage. The knives are resistant to rust and stains, they are ideal for handling a variety of food products. They are designed with a full tang Pakkawood handle, this knife set provides the perfect balance and superior control, the ergonomically designed handle provides a balanced grip for enhanced control and comfort, it includes a finger guard for safety. These knives are a good value.

Right out of the package, the presentation of this carving set is stunning! (Though, next time it's packaged, hopefully it will be in more than a thin plastic envelope, so the corners don't get as bumped - nothing a little black sharpie won't fix!) and when you open this thin box, the tools are sitting there, waiting to be admired. Two stunning knives and a carving fork, all with their own safety covers, are glimmering in the box, just waiting for that next hunk of meat to be sliced. While I may be a vegetarian, I'm in charge of carving the turkey every Thanksgiving, and I can't wait to give this set a go!
