Execllent Map!
After living in New Zealand for a year, I knew I wanted a wall map where I could tack up all the notable places I visited during that time. It's just large enough that all the tacks needed didn't feel crowded. I don't think anybody quite makes maps like National Geographic does.

Excellent detail
The map, printed in 2013, provides great detail of Scandinavia and the Nordics. As other customers have stated, there's also tremendous detail given to the Baltic nations. While not part of Scandinavia, they (especially Estonia) share some overlapping histories, and I found their inclusion a bonus. My only (minor) issue with the map is that it provides detail of Denmark's Faroe Islands, Norway's tiny Jan Mayen island, but not Svalbard, Norway's Arctic archipelago. Seems a bit strange to include the former but not the latter, as Svalbard is a somewhat popular tourist destination. All in all, a good map.

Details of New Zealand
Love this map. We'll be seeing NZ in the near future mostly from the prospective of a cruise ship. Now I know where we're going.

Best if put into a frame
It is working perfectly in a frame but the ends were damaged in delivery or packaging. Best if put into a frame.

Great way to see Estonia in geographic context
This map is perfect to show the Scandinavian and the Baltic States in context. Using to show show classes and travel groups where Estonia is and the surrounding geography. I had it mounted and is part of my collection of regional maps.

Terrific detail!
The map is quite well-made, with plenty of detail. I had read a complaint that it was not useful as a road map, but it does not pretend to be a road map. I will find it quite useful for my future trip to Sweden and Norway, a lovely complement to my older map of Sweden alone.

A Lovely Map
This map is a good size and of the superb quality expected of National Geographic. I personally dislike when separate lands are shown in a map in a different scale, such as Alaska is generally in maps of the US, and such as Iceland is here. I am not sure why such great care was taken to include Finland and the Baltic states, as they are in no way part of Scandinavia, but it is nice to have them. It is also nice to see all of the ferry routes across the Baltic.
