The good:- The can is made of relatively thick plastic. It will last a while.- It comes with a two year warranty from the manufacturer, though the manufacturer is in England, so you might have to ship it there.- The spout is long and well-braced. The brace can also act as a second handle.- It comes with two auxiliary spout tips, one a rose with a brass diffuser, and the other a small right-angle nozzle that can be aimed up or down or sideways. The tips come in a nice mesh bag tied to the can with a bit of jute string.- It is a handy size for indoor watering.The bad:- It is carelessly made. It is made in a two-part mold. The mold halves do not fit together well, and aren't aligned perfectly, so the finished product has a standing burr or ridge running completely around it, including inside the handles. The burr is sharp and prominent enough to cut bare skin, especially wet skin. I trimmed it off with a very sharp knife, but it should be unnecessary. There are other sharp edges here and there, including at the tip of the spout, which looks like it was cut off by hand.- The nozzles are poorly designed. They are plastic, and just jam onto the end of the spout (which again, is not particularly precisely made.) So they will leak. Also, jamming the nozzles on tightly to prevent the leaking may easily crack the nozzles. So the end of the spout should be finished more carefully, and the nozzles should screw or twist-lock onto the spout.So overall, you can use it, but you will have no pleasure in ownership. You could very well mutter to yourself that $3 plastic toys from Thailand are made better than this thing, and you would be right.

This is a great watering can, it is the pefect size if you have a few indoor plants. I was looking for one that wasn't so big. I had bought another watering can for the outdoor plants for outside my condo. We don't have a spigot outside in the front of the condo, so i got a watering can instead. Now I get a workout, as the one for outside is 2.5 gallons, and a lot of steps to get to the kitchen sink and faucet. But the outdoor one is just too big, heavy and unwieldy to be used inside.This one is the perfect size for about 10 smaller potted house plants. The opening is big enough to get water without too much splashing. The long spout and rose are great, as you can carry the watering can from it and it aides in watering. It also comes with the rose and a special downspout which points the water downwards when watering small potted plants. This was why i bought it for, so I could water my plants without getting water all over the place. The smaller size, and the shape help to make it easier to balance it while watering, even with plants that are hanging as well.I also love the deep green color, it blends into the wall of plants that i have in the kitchen, where i keep it when it's not in use. I will also say that the plastic used is much more sturdy feeling that the outside watering can i spoke of earlier. Besides that I still use the rose, which has a very gently and delicate flow pattern. It like extruding super thin angle hair pasta. That's how thin and delicate the water coming out of the rose is. All in all a good choice for indoor or just very few outdoor plants. I would say you will need a bigger one for outside.

This is an great watering can, well-designed and easy to carry around, and works well for both indoor and outdoor use. The included rose and hook work well, with the rose delivering a nice fine spray that doesn't kick up soil on my indoor plants. The brass rose face can be popped out so you can actually clean inside it, which is a nice touch.The watering can is made of thick, durable plastic, and I expect it will last a long time. It's also practically impossible to spill due to the design; the top horizontal handle is hollow, so water just goes through there to the main spout. The second handle also allows for very comfortable carrying and watering compared to "regular" designs.However, my first can leaked from the base of the rose head when I had that one attached. Since I use it indoors as well, that led to water dripping on the floor... Amazon sent out a replacement, and the fit is much more snug; no more dripping! I'd give this product a 5 if not for having to have it replaced, but other than that, this is a well-designed and extremely functional watering can.

I like the product. At first I thought the shape would be awkward but now I really like it. The only problem I have is the first time I put the tip on the plastic cracked. I can maybe tape it but this is an expensive watering can and I was disappointed that happened. That area should definitely be reinforced.

The nozzle is rather fragile and split apart when we put it on the long spout. The cause was a large amount of plastic material ("flash") that had leaked out between the halves of the mold in which the watering can was made. We were able to repair the nozzle and use it, but greater care in the manufacture of the watering can itself would have made this a better product.

Good for indoor use but also good for outdoor use for small gardens. I wanted a watering can that I could easily carry around - the 2.25-Liter fits the job. When filled with water, you can use the middle handle as it's more balanced to hold the water (without swashing all the water out). Yes - It's made of plastic. The only downside is that I wish it had a space to carry the two roses. However, I just keep the extra rose inside the little baggie, which ties onto the outer handle.

Haws cans are great....except, the rose attachment consistently splits along the seam when attached to the neck of the watering can. I have alerted Bosmere to see if they can make it right, but they will not stand behind their product, which is disappointing. If you buy a Haws can, be prepared for the rose to split. If you are at all handy, you can try shaving down the attachment point to make it fit and/or use a hose clamp to keep it from leaking.

Easy to use well packaged

I am torn with my review, because this can is the perfect size for my balcony garden, however the roses keep splitting. Both of the roses supplied with the can as well as a third that I bought as a replacement have all split after a couple of weeks of use.The can itself it great, perfect size for 5 medium sized pots, and quite easy to use.I had bought another haws rose made of silicon, but for some reason it wasn't made to fit this can so I returned it. It would have been a huge improvement upon the plastic currently used.I would recommend looking into a metal can, as they come with all brass roses.

This is a nice little watering can. I bought it to water my hanging baskets and it is good for that purpose - it's not too heavy when full, and the long thin spout makes it easy to reach hard to get to places. It is pretty small, so needs refilling often. I knocked one star off because the water takes a long time to come out of the hanging basket attachment, and the rose dribbles a bit. Overall it's a well made product that is enjoyable to use.

Really pleased with my watering can it is perfect to water all my pots. I do have the larger one which is alsogreat. Really good quality, great design perfect in every way.Came very quick, good price, great seller. Thank you.

Watering can arrived very well packaged and the item itself was well made. But and there always seems to be a 'But' and in this case it was the very tight fitting of the small attachment for close, non-drip watering which with filing and sanding has not totally rectified the problem.I know I could have sent it back for an exchange but having tried to alleviate the problem it obviously cancelled out me going down that route which was a shame, other wise a good product.
