This mat is SUPER soft. The carpet they used feels like satin, and the memory foam underneath is amazing.The memory foam is sealed in rubber on the bottom so you can wash it. And the rug itself is surprisingly light.Why the 4 stars instead of 5? When I got the rug, it came with a small dark black stain on it. It was packaged like that. How could you miss this stain? I don't know. But I can't return it because I bought the mat to use due to a painful foot injury and already waited for the shipping time. I will say it does help my foot feel a ton better, but the stain is ugly. Even Amazon could have seen this thing when they boxed it up. I'm disappointed with that - thus the 4 stars. Keep your eye out for stains.

I really like this contour rug and am overall satisfied with the purchase. The color is paler than the product picture appears, much more of a light gray (not blue gray), which could be a positive or negative depending on what you're looking for. The memory foam is thick and very soft, much softer than our bath mat; it is very comfortable for your feet. The cut out portion is square, which is a drawback, but the bottom has enough of a non-slip grip that it doesn't slide around the floor much (even when trod on by cats). Since it doesn't slide around much, it works fine with our rounded toilet base; though it might not be the most aesthetically pleasing, the comfort level makes up for it.

I love this rug set that I purchased! It is plush and feels wonderful on my feet. I purchased one 20x64-inch, two 20x32-inch and one 20x24-inch contour rug. They all "walk" a little bit. The packaging was not the best. I had to send one of the 20x32-inch rugs back because the edges were buckled badly. Amazon sent a replacement rug right away. The replacement did not have near the problems that the first one did. I have not washed these yet so I cannot write about how they will do in a machine (they are supposed to be machine washable). So far, I am very pleased with them even though I have to shift them back into place every other day.

Originally I purchased one of these from Warehouse deals for my dog. He is getting a bit older and although he has a hammock bed, sometimes prefers the floor but needs a cushion. This was just the right size and thanks to the color/fabric was inconspicuous enough to leave in the living room so he can sit beside us.However, when it arrived, both my spouse and self immediately loved the feel of it! We aren't getting any younger either and this provides just enough cushion to feel secure and soft when getting out of the tub. Non-slip backing and fabric on top are what you would expect from any other bath rug but the memory foam makes all the difference. It's not over-padded but does provide a noticeable amount of cushion just right for aging feet/knees and backs.

The rug is ok...but does not wash & dry well. It takes 4 cycles in the dryer (on low) to get it dry. The color is a darker color ivory than I would have preferred - has more yellow in it. The packaging of the rug was ridiculously huge and somehow the rug arrived dirty on one end - which washed out, thankfully. The matching rug for the around the toilet does not fit well. The rug is squared too much and does not sit well at the rounded base of the toilet. Things to think about as you shop...

Pictures on website look a tad whiter than what I got, but that is a good thing. White will show more dirt faster but this color is just about what I hoped for. It does need cleaning sooner, so I normally go bar footed to eliminate walking on them with dirty shoes. The thickness is nice on the feet, but it does slip a bit, so I used two sided tape on one side only to keep it steady in one place. Overall I like it and will purchase another someday.

I recently moved into a new apartment, and I wanted some red items for the bathroom to match the vanity and trim. This bathmat matched the towels I had purchased relatively well, and I liked the idea of memory foam. The mat feels great on your feet. It is pleasant to stand on and inviting as you cool off after a hot shower. My only problem with it is that you can't throw it in the laundry. If that's important to you, look elsewhere.

The rug is 60 by 20 not 64. It looked otherwise to be very nice though I did not remove it from that plastic wrapper. But it fell short of needed coverage because of the misinformation. Also the package was ridiculously big but I suppose that's not a negative per se. Just odd that they would use a massive sized box. You have to assume the shipping costs are in some way being passed on to the customer. Neighbors were asking if I got a new big screen TV.
