You can buy 2nds with confidence, very nice knife.
A beautiful knife. Came sharp. The blade releases cut vegetables as it should. I am a fan of this length of knife, for me it is the most comfortable with the nicest leverage for easy cutting. I do hand wash my knives, so I can not speak to dishwasher safety. Really like the way this handle feels. I have a wider palm and shorter fingers. My other knives are Shun, I may like this handle better for some tasks, time will tell. The seller was very responsive when I had questions/concerns. This knife is a very good buy and very useful. I believe it will hold up well.

This knife is very well made, ergonomic, and comes extremely sharpThe only thing that could be considered a con is that it's pretty heavy

Great Knife!
This is my first high quality kitchen knife (more than $20), and I am very pleased. This knife is solid and fits well in my hands; and is VERY shard. Even though it is a factory second, I can't find anything wrong with it. I am so pleased with this knife, I have purchased more of the Ergo Chef Crimson Series knives.

Good enough knife with a possible safety issue.
Some hands might find this an unsafe knife. I,ve purchased a few Crimson knives with angled handles and like using them because the downward handle drop placed my smaller hands close to the blade and I was able to safely and comfortably pinch the blade. Not so with the straight handle. Moving the handle into the straight position moves the hand away from the blade. That slight change in distance from the handle to the curve of the blade results in an awkward finger placement on the blade.Nice little knife that I,ll gift to someone or repurpose for another use.

Great size, lovely weight
I've had this knife for several months now- it's become my 'go-to' for most everything. Great size, lovely weight. Highly recommend.

Lovely knife with a caveat: It is very heavy
I give it three stars not because of the design and build quality which is excellent and very comfortable to hold. Also, it's a great deal as I'm hard pressed to find why it was considered a "second". The reason is because of the weight. I purposefully bought a smaller knife (6" vs the traditional 7" Santoku) to make it easy on my hand but this thing feels like a battle ax it is so heavy! I own several Santoku's and this is by far the heaviest. On the other hand, if you are looking for a small, heavy Santoku, then this is a great deal!
