The Flobe F057 Tod holder works exactly as it is supposed to.
We ordered 2 of the gunnel mount rod holder. The installation took less than 15 minutes for both holders. Once on the water the rods went in and were held perfectly until we wanted to remove them. Sadly not because we caught a fish. Definitely worth the money.

Ease of use, standard attachment
My wife always had trouble lifting the pole upwards out of the drop-in pole holders. Guests on the boat do too. It created stress when there was a fish on. The ease of use with this Folbe mechanical holder has solved that problem, making setting the hook a natural movement. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a very nice rod holder for most any kind of freshwater fishing.I now have two different kinds of rod holders on my cat fishing boat.I use stationary holders for anchor fishing and folbe for free style clicker fishing.This rod holder seems to be made of very good quality in the U.S.A. Great rod holders
Easy to install, easy to use. I fish for salmon, these are great. Had other styles/brands on my boat. Replaced them with the Folbe. If you have had to take rod out of other styles/brands you know there is the risk for slack line which can result in fish throwing hook. Not a problem with the Folbe. Pick the rod straight up and fight the fish.Have several inexperienced people fishing on my boat at times. Easy for them to grab the rod. Easier on the equipment which is a big plus for me. These babies get 5 star rating.
