YBBAnimal Handling Anti-bite/Scratch Gloves for Dog Cat Bird Parrot Pet (Black)

I bought these gloves when I was caring for a semi-feral mother cat with young kittens. She had a tendency to bite or lash out when I would try to clean the cage or deliver food. These gloves protected my hands from bites easily!! They are thick and that does make it hard to do fine motor skills, but not getting bit is the better alternative. Please don’t think that these will hold up to big dogs or a strong bite. Some of these reviews seem to think that these will protect like the gloves used to train attack dogs. They’re great for cats and dogs that may nip quickly in fear. Not for larger aggressive dogs.

They work! My cat gets very mad at the vet, she has skin issues, so we need to treat them, she hates being touched on the legs, but she has fungus or some kind of skin condition, we need to shave and scrub the barbs off weekly, this has been going on for awhile. I got bit several months ago, a very very deep puncture, had to take anti-biotics and get an updated tetanus shot. After that, I said no more. I need to protect my hands especially. My cat when she bites not just bites she tears very hard, and it very painful. so... I bought handling gloves, these, and they work great. People laugh, but... I no longer have puncture wounds. Also my cat sorta knows she cannot get through the material, she feels defeated so, they work, highly recommended!!!!!

Recently I came upon a squirrel in the road that had been hit by a car. Trying to catch him to get help was very tricky. Eventually I was able to get him into a carrier and transported to a wildlife rehabilitation center (he did survive and was rereleased into the wild 6 weeks later). This happens to me quite a bit, so I decided that it was time for me to prepare an animal rescue kit to keep in my trunk. I bought one pair of these gloves to wear so that I may pick up animals without having to worry about being bitten or clawed. The gloves arrived quickly and are very nice. They cover my entire arm and are very thick. I am confident that I would not feel a bite from a small animal. I have not had the chance to use them in an animal rescue situation, but I am confident that they will work well. So confident that I did order another pair for any passengers who might be with me to wear so they can assist me.

Product is ok, I just expected more thickness. I don’t know how long this will hold up, but hoping for the best. Would I recommend? PossiblyIf you have a really strong dog then it might not hold up. If your dog isn’t as strong and rough, probably will be fine.

little devil will no longer be feasting on my finger flesh. He can still cause pain through these but wont penetrate. Im ok with that. any thicker and i won't be able to hold him anyway.

My daughter was having issues with her parrot and was quickly growing frightened of him. She said she had been bitten a few times.I researched gloves and it was a struggle to choose a pair. So happy that these fit the "Bill", so to speak. She can successfully put her arm into the cage, give him food/water and give him a few gentle love pats.But confidently.

Overall seems like a good product. Good for active dogs interacting with new people. Wish it didn’t come with a hole on the inside but it’s ok I guess

I have two baby raccoons I rescued and feeding until they are old enough to release. These gloves says it’s bite proof. It is not BITE proof? They bite right through the gloves to my fingers. Felt every bite of it. Trash product. I could have lost a finger ugh!
