Use if for cooking gluten free only and works out great for my husband and myself. I thought it would give more options for my husband to fix lunch etc on when he wanted to grill something maybe just for himself. So far we have used it for waffles and pancakes, but I don't think he has gotten creative yet. Cleans easily.

I bought this unit and thought will be good. It took 13 min to heat up a simple sandwitch and then entire outer surface gets heated so much. And it never worked after one time use. Had to return the product. Was very disappointed.

My daughter loved it, she especially loved the interchangeable plates. Well worth the price I paid.

This product takes forever to heat up and to cook. I purchased it for waffles but have also made panini sandwiches. The plates are easy to install and clean, but the rest of the device becomes very greasy and is harder to clean.

Great product

I was looking for a waffle maker that also had plates for sandwiches. Mom had one when I was a kid and thought my kids would like it too. They had a good laugh when I tried to make a grilled cheese and it went EVERYWHERE. It didnt even get the bread toasted before the cheese was leaking everywhere. And the seal n cut plate did neither. Cheese leaked everywhere and just had a giant mess. Waste of money. Guess I am buying two separate items instead.

I've had my Total Chef for about five years now and so far, it's been working fine. I wash the plates by hand and I haven't noticed any peeling of the material at all. It grills fine and the sandwich plates make the best quesadilla. My only complaint is that it just doesn't get hot enough to do really good waffles. They're not bad...but I think a heat controls would make them better.

Perfect size and the plates are interchangealbe and can be washed in the dishwasher. Love this product for making grill cheese sandwiches.

i belive that it is still buyer beware before you buy something. we were not happy with product as soon as it arrived never have used it but when we have to pay for return shipping it makes buying a pain and not worth buying from this company

Worst piece of crap, didn't heat up and took too long to cook. Too many nooks and crannies to clean. Any wonder first one I got was returned and you didn't even bother to remove address with her name and address. So much for confidentiality. This one is the replacement.
