Piece of garbage!
I bought this pipe, last year 05/19/19. the flex part is rotted through already after less than a year! I should of went with my better jugement when I seen the quality if this thing! It looked like it was made in someone's back yard! now the guy tells me it's part of life! WTF exchange only! I'm not putting another one of those things on my vehicle! What a joke!

Perfect Replacement for OEM
After 9 years of driving in New England winters, I finally had to replace my exhaust system on my Murano. I ordered this and so far it has been working great. I decided to have a outside muffler shop install it since I didn't have the necessary equipment to do it myself as it turned out the bolts were pretty rusty and it usually takes a torch to cut them off when they are so badly deteriorated. The converter also included replacement bolts and a gasket which was a plus if you end up swapping this item out on your own. It was a perfect fit and it has restored the quiet running vehicle I had when it was new. I definitely would recommend this to anyone in the market for a replacement converter pipe.Update:I purchased this unit for my Murano in September 2019. It was very good while it lasted but as of February 2021, I have to replace the pipe because it is leaking around the welds of the flex area of the pipe. My original exhaust lasted 8 years and while I wasn't sure how long this would last, I certainly thought it would last much longer than 17 months. As many of us know, we didn't do a lot of traveling in 2020. I worked from home starting March 2020 and rarely drove the vehicle compared to what I was doing prior to the pandemic. I see other people who have left reviews here saying how they are very satisfied and who purchased the pipe long before I did. Maybe I received a bad lot but I felt it necessary to update my review since as I expected this to last much longer that it has. Needless to say, I will be looking for another manufactured to purchase a replacement as it appears the quality of this unit is lacking. I do have to say I reside in Rhode Island and drive in the snow at times. However, there was less that the usual snowstorms . The winter 2019-2020 we had two snowstorms, one in December and one in January 2020 for a total of 4 inches. February 2021 is the only time my area along the coast has seen snow and that total was ten inches. Since I was working remotely, I never drove when there may have been a lot of sand/salt spread on the road so I was surprised when I brought the car in for a checkup and got the news the pipe was leaking. I had been hearing the noise during startup at times from January but thought it was a loose connection since the entire exhaust was replaced and installed by me with only the front y-pipe being installed by a mechanic since I didn't have the equipment to remove rusty bolts and just didn't want to deal with that issue at the time. I have reduced my overall rating to 2 stars as I feel that is about what it deserves because it has failed after being on the car less than 1 1/2 years and minimal driving due to COVID during that period.

Not For The Do-It-Yourselfer
Not a great fit, unfortunately. The main problem is that the front flanges are not welded to the pipe at the exact proper angle. It can be forced since two flex pipes are part of the assembly but that puts tremendous stress on those flexes which explains the premature failures described in several reviews. The flexes themselves are good quality but not meant to deal with being forced into an unnatural position. The fix is to heat the pipe red hot just behind the flanges and allow the system to find it's relaxed position. This should be done with the system bolted up WITHOUT gaskets installed, then allowed to cool, after which time you can open the flange connections, insert the gaskets and final tighten the flange bolts. If you heat the pipe with the gaskets in place you will at the very least shorten their life or even cause them to fail immediately. Hope this was helpful. Short version. If you've got torches and know what you're doing, this part is right for you. Otherwise, expect some trouble during installation and/or down the road. All that said, I have to add that the company itself stands behind their product and customer service is excellent. They will accept returns for parts that don't fit and the process is easy and painless. So to summarize, iffy fit but great people.

Good fit but didn't last a year.
Installed this quite easily in April 2019, and it is already blown out one of the flex. Cheap fix to get past inspection but not a long term item.On the positive side, it went in and although a tighter fit (original factory pipe was slightly shorter) it was crafted close enough to the correct dimensions to mate with the fittings on all 3 outlets.

Car stopped running this pipe was the problem
Put this in in Sept of 2019 Oct 8th 2021 got a call from my wife the car wouldn't run it would start but wouldn't go when put in gear also wouldn't Rev past 1500 rpm long story short the catalyst is surrounded by an insulating blanket that blanket disintegrated and blocked the front of the catalyst I broke out the catalyst and the car runs great if you purchased this pipe and down the road your car won't run check this pipe

Perfect factory fit!
Included all required hardware and seals, quick install once I wrestled off the original cat assembly. I installed this to remedy an exhaust leak, so I can’t speak to the emissions performance. Highly recommended!

Fits as described
Fits a 2012 Nissan Murano, comes with all the parts needed to change out. Bought this exact part 2 yrs and needed to be changed due to rusting out

For the price I have to give it 5 stars.
It has not came back with a check engine light and the fit was mostly fine. It should have come with flat gaskets instead of the original style but they are readily available at the parts store. The Cat appeared to be decent quality and the rest was fine also.
