PanacheWomen's Jasmine Balconnet Bra

Great, pretty bra!
Updated review 11/30/2015: I just bought a second bra in this style. I love the fit and lift of this bra. It's forgiving throughout my cycle. Literally the only drawbacks I have seen with this bra are that the underwires (?) tend to creak audibly when I move, which is a little bizarre, and the band in the front does roll under and leave marks on my stomach. (I have the same issue with the Panache Olivia style, but the Olivia is worse.) Overall, great bra, and I've upgraded to 5-stars. It's one of my "go-to" bras.Original review:This bra has amazing lift and also really good separation without crunching the inside of my close-set, forward-facing breasts too badly. (It seems to crunch me less than the Panache Olivia.) The vertical seams align pretty perfectly with my nipples, which are just below the horizontal seam. I tried it first in 36FF (before I knew what band I needed) and returned it. 34FF is a keeper. It's performing well even though I'm at the part of my cycle where my breasts are larger and one is especially larger (probably a G or a little smaller). The side-shaping in this is fairly subtle. I only get a weird vertical line and side-quad boob if I raise my arms above my head. The band is definitely firm on first try-on, and I'm sure it will leave marks unless I use an extender until it relaxes. The bottom edge of the band in the front seams a little bit stretchy, but it's also got a stiff edge, so it will probably leave marks in my stomach. I would also imagine that the little bit of fabric at the bottom of the band below the underwires will start to roll under. I seem to do better when there is no band, but others may not have this issue. Love the lace edge of the cups on this bra, and the houndstooth is also cute. Would work well for both younger and older women I think. The fit of this bra, while very similar in design to the Cleo Kali and Cleo Lucy (except those don't have side-shaping), is MUCH more forgiving. I can't wear either of those at this part of my cycle without getting quad-boob/spillage at the top of the cups and wanting to rip the thing off because the band is so tight.

Close to perfect
This is the best fitting bra I've ever gotten so far, but it's just almost perfect. Looks good, smooth under clothing, slimming and doesn't feel like I bought a brick house for my chest. The lace at the top stretches so it lies flat with no quad boob, gore tacks perfectly, magic separation without a too high gore. I have a tiny amt of space at the bottom of the cups because of having wide root, full on top breasts, so the band also slides down in the front a tiny bit instead of staying put, but for as difficult a time as I have finding bras in my size that suit my body shape I'm actually quite happy. I'm going to try another Panache in a larger cup size. For reference I'm a 32H or 34GG - H and cannot wear any bras with a high gore. Freya bras don't fit as the cups are too small across the top. Panache Cleo 32H is the only bra that seems to fit perfectly but are hard to find. Panache Elan don't work because the center gore comes up too high and rubs against the breast tissue.. the search continues..

Beauty is pain...
For reference, I'm 37, about 170lb, 5'6" & average size 10-12. My body type is pretty much classic hourglass gone soft & squishy. I purchased this in a 34G, and for the most part this bra does all its supposed to do. Talk about lift & separate! 😊 The gore fit flat against my chest and the cups provided adequate coverage for a balconette bra. The lace at the top of the cups seemed very delicate... almost too thin, as I was afraid it would rip easily. But the bra did its job making the girls look good. HOWEVER, I was not pleased at all with the comfort. The material was rough & scratchy. And the underwire... ouch! Unless you're someone who has perfect posture or who has a really toned torso, if you're large busted this bra is likely to be painful. Even though the band gives good support, the weight of my breasts and the "fluffiness" at the top of my ribcage wasn't a good match. The underwire digs in where it sits, so if it happens to sit on a roll for a long period of time, it will probably leave you raw and sore. But, like I said, if you have a tight torso or great posture or just stand all say, it would probably work for you. 15 years ago I could have worn it comfortably, but realistically, now, not so much. It would be ok for a sexy date night, but I would not want to wear it for much longer than a few hours.

Excellent support, weird shape
Among the best support I've ever found in a bra and looked okay in a shirt, but the shape wasn't for me. I was hoisted to the heavens and came out looking like I was smuggling torpedos. For reference, I'm 34DD with slightly relaxed, full-on-bottom, full-in-center breasts. I'm fairly certain I'm somewhat high/narrow rooted, but haven't had that confirmed by anyone more knowledgeable than myself about bra fitting (which is probably most people who wear bras). The straps were tight right out of the package but had more than enough room for loosening, and a quick try-on showed that they could be worn under a boatneck neckline, but they might have peeked out here and there during actual wear. The gore seemed higher than usual but fit beautifully 99% of the time, nestled right up against my sternum. When I bent over more than 90° it gave me a very tiny, not uncomfortable jab at the top, like it just wanted to make itself known but wasn't very insistent about it. Besides that, the wires felt very strong and well made.I've tried my share of inexpensive department store bras and never experienced support or wire strength like I found in this one. I'll be giving Panache another shot based on that alone, and hopefully I can find one with a cup shape that's more flattering on me.

Good bra
I purchase this bra as I need a new one. I like the style of the bra and how it hold me up. I went with a 38JJ. The band is nice and snug and hold me well. The underwire of this bra comes up high on the breast. It may poke you. But I like that my boobs are sitting higher on my chest. I definitely think 38JJ ( US 38 N) is size but maybe for strapless bra

The sizing is a little off compared to other Panache products
The cup size seems to be a little small, so there is some “leakage” on the left size. Also, the underwire comes up pretty high under the arm, which might be great for somebody with a longer torso, but not great for me. Overall, it’s not terrible, but with a slightly bigger cup size, I could overlook the high underwire.

Wonderful bra
This is a wonderful bra. I was still figuring out my size after using the Boob or Bust site, so it took a few attempts to get the right size, but it's incredibly supportive, gives a beautiful shape, and makes my 43 years old (tired from two lots of breastfeeding) boobs look pretty amazing. I love them again! Also, a lot of bras for more ample chests are not the most attractive, but this one is. Would happily buy one in every colour!

Beautiful bra, however the cups were too projected for me
