Nothing to dislike.It's not going to be up to the standard of a Manfrotto but for something that is a fraction of the price its really well made and sturdy.

It's very heavy for the small size, but feels like good quality. Used it a few times and had no issues. Only gripe I have is that it appears heavily greased and gunk comes out at all connections like a leaky old car.... I'll wipe it off, no big deal, let's see what happens when all grease is gone....May 2020: After several months of use I have to downgrade this to a 2*: The mechanism does not appear to lock the top plate into place. Despite having the screw tightened - there is movement. Not usable anymore I'm afraid.

Looks well made but doesn’t function very well. The tilt mechanism is greased with something that resembles a mix of tar and marmalade and is very stiff but suddenly becomes easier (I guess this is as the grease gets less viscous). It is difficult to adjust the tilt resistance - it’s either on or off. You get what you pay for, I’m returning mine.

Although basically well made the one I received had the bubble level poorly fitted. This made it useless for the type of photography I hade in mind.

Smooth operation of tilt and turn makes panning and moving controlled and easy. Essential for video recording as opposed to still photography.

Wanted to use it on a monopod for travelling but it is too heavy and cumbersome to use this way.

Very pleased with this head. Suspect this will become the head I makemost use of despite owning a variety as has ll the options on it you would want from a decent head.

This product fits my tripod which came with ball head perfectly well. The mat is excellent for my Sony 4K camcorder and camera. They sit very well and protected. I will surely recommend this product to anyone who wants to replace ball head with pan head. I would have given it 5star but for the weight.
