Simple to install and its construction is of very high quality. The components are weather-resistant. Despite the weight, the aluminum body adds to its strength and probably its longevity over the next few years.When mounting, I recommend using stock bolts if at all possible. I was lucky to find one bolt inside the engine compartment. After removing this bolt (a zero-day bolt) I cleaned it thoroughly with a degreaser and allowed it to dry completely. I then slathered on a thick coating of red Loctite so that it won't move under vibration.As another user stated, the Pyle horns have "PA" audio-quality. This means that the mids and highs are focused rather than the lows -- so there's virtually no bass; however, despite it's small size (6") it still can put out serious volume given the proper radio and/or amplifier.Very nice add-on piece to my Kenwood VHF mobile radio. Even at maximum volume there's zero distortion.

I purchased two of these speakers to build a DIY electronic game caller similar to the commercially-available FoxPro units. I am very happy with the result.PROS:- The output is VERY loud, if you supply the correct wattage from an amplifier.- These speakers are made of coated metal and look to be very weather-durable.- The speaker comes pre-wired with a positive and negative lead (approximately 12") which makes connections easy for most small projects.- The mounting bracket is very durable as well, and the angle of the speaker in the bracket is adjustable.CONS:- If you're trying to build something to play music, this may not be the best option. These speakers don't seem to be designed for playing music, as I don't think they have a very full audio range. They do handle speech and animal sounds without issue, but music sounds a little flat.- As they are made of metal, they're a bit heavy, but not so much as to be problematic.OVERALL:- Very good quality, especially for the price.- Would recommend for any type of PA-speaker type project.

Material is not as strong/solid as thought but sound quality is great

I bought this to install in my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T and I love it. I should have read the description a little better before buying it because it was way bigger than i was expecting. but it is what it says it is, I just didn't pay attention. The quality is what you would expect from a CB PA, nothing like a stereo speaker, but it is very clear and loud well worth the money. the wires are on the short side, maybe 6 inches, but it is easy enough to splice a new wire to it.

Not loud at at all can't even here it over my truck idling

I can't review the sound quality right now because, no 3.5mm Male Jack was included for CB radio. I did locate one about 29.5 miles from home. $1.99 and 60 mile trip. I'm not in the mood to drive now.If I get it hooked up, I will update 1 more star if it deserves it.

This product works great I've gone off roading and it stays put doesn't get loose and hasn't broken off it also stands up really great with water hasn't failed me and is super loud only bad thing is that the wire for the speaker is only 3-4 inches long so soldering is harder if you have big hands

Speaker is a but weak. That said, it's a sturdy metal cone and easy to install. I hooked it up to the PA feature for my CB. While not overly loud, it's loud enough to hear from about 25 ft. It doesn't come with any length of audio cord so that is extra. No big deal. For the price and it's intended use, I'm happy. I wouldn't use this as an emergency public address system like for rolling through a neighborhood advising people of a tornado or anything.
