Awkward fit: shirt fits true to size, pants and hat very small
The pants were very very short for my 4 yr (he is tall and won't stop growing!) But the hat was too small and the shirt fit like a true 8t. I got a large size bc I hope that he could wear it next year, but he was not a fan of the booty short and very uncomfortable hat. If you remove the hat, a very slim 8yr may be ok with this fit but it is an awkward fit from head to toe :( the print on the pants seemed nice.
