Very good product. The cutting plates however have worn out and also bent after few uses. Better quality cutting plates can be provided. Or atleast one extra set of plates could be added.

I have just started quilting and have been looking for a fabric cutter to make life easier, I started out wanting the AccuquiltGo bucause that what my quilting instructor has but it is so darn expensive. I started doing research and found Sizzix products, they had excellent reviews and the machines and dies were much cheaper so I dove in and bought the Sizzix Big Shot.I am in Love! I am in the process of making a weighted rag quilt for my daughter using old jeans, so I bought the 4.5in square die, this little machine has made my life so easy. Since I'm cutting thick denim I can only do 1 layer at a time but I can cut 15 perfect squares in 5 minutes, there is no way I could do that with a ruler and rotary cutter.If you decide to buy a Sizzix make sure you buy an extra set of cutting pads to match your die size, they do wear out (not sure how fast) and I bought a extra long die and did not buy a set of pads to match whoops lol. Also a die pick, it looks like the tool a dentist uses to scrape your teeth but it helps you clean out the fabric stuck in your dies, the AccuQuilt comes with this Sizzix does not, I bought the Accuquilt brand pick here on amazon for like $8. All in all I see myself getting lots of use out of this machine for half the price of the Accuquilt machines, so if your on a budget definately look at Sizxix.

改良されてる感じがします。プラ板も以前とは違う粘りがある様な感じでダイをカットする際も重たさを感じ、以前は軽い感じでしたが確りカットされます。保障も3年で日本語表示で使用説明されてるのが嬉しいです。３台目なんで次は３年以上持たせる様に使っています。今回はプラットホームも長くて良いですね、でもプラ板は通常サイズなので長い物を購入すれば大量生産も出来ると思います。幅自体は変わらないのでA4カット出来るプロ用も欲しいと思いましたが高額な為・・・直ぐに購入する訳には行きませんので取敢えずは通常サイズのカットをして楽しんでいます！

I bought this to make cards and I love it. It works perfectly, except for the dies leaving imprints on the clear acrylic trays. I made one card and it etched the plates with the die shapes. I had seen a video on youtube that a person used a self-healing cutting mat with the acrylic plates and tried it and it worked great. I bought the Fiskars mat at Walmart for $9.99 and cut it to match the 6 inch plates. I place the mat over the paper layer and the dies cut into it, instead of the clear trays. It goes like this: White platform, clear acrylic, die -teeth up, paper, fiskar mat, clear acrylic. Another added benefit of using the self-healing mat is it reduces the crunching sounds while cranking the wheel. I've cut @ 40 items using this method and only 1 out of 25 dies didn't cut well. Part of the plant leaf didn't cut completely, so I folded card stock paper in half and placed it on top of the mat and that gave it enough height to cut it perfectly. It went like this: standard platorm, clear tray, die teeth up, cardstock paper, Fiskar mat, folded cardstock, clear acrylic. I am 100% pleased with this machine and I love my new hobby:)

この機械はいいけれど、ダイが１つや２つ最初からセットになっているのかとおもいきや…本体のみ。説明書きにもっと詳しく記載して欲しかった。届いても直ぐに使えなかった。
