Maestri House Milk Frother with Variable Temperature and Foam Strength (Black)

I never thought I'd be that bothered about having frothed milk, but this gadget has me absolutely obsessed. Pros: - Solid Construction and durable materials - Easy Controls to understand and use - Easy to clean - Thick foam on max foam setting - Hot milk setting makes a brilliant latte or hot chocolate - Makes the perfect amount of hot milk for two on the max fill line. Cons: - None that I can find I wish I had bought this sooner. Both me and my partner are using it multiple times a day now.

Excellent appliance, does perfectly what it promises with no fuss. This is the third milk frother I have tried and is by far and away the best. It operates almost silently creating beautiful foamy milk at the right temperature. Easy to clean, this appliance has it all.

This is excellent. My husband uses it for his hot chocolate. It heats up well and has a choice of amount of froth. It's easy to clean and nice and compact on the kitchen surface.

I like the look of this machine and overall it is a nice design. It's very easy to use and clean and appears to be of a good quality build. It's extremely quiet when operating which is nice. But I do have a couple of quibbles. The machine remembers which temperature I set it at but always defaults to a medium froth which is annoying as to put it to the low setting you have to press the button 3 or 4 times. Now I don't like my milk too frothy, and even on the low froth settings you literally cannot drink it. When it is finished heating the milk the result is a little bit of hot milk and tonnes of froth. But I have a feeling a lot of these machines are like this, which is why I am sticking with it.

This is my third milk frother in six months, and should have gone for this first (but wanted to save money so went cheap!!) This one froths well, and also goes up to 70deg temperature (the others all do 65), and that extra 5deg really does make a difference (personally, another 5-10 would have been great, but this is the best I can get). Its quiet (compared to another I bought. Its dishwasher safe (not the base, obviously!) this means I can clean it well. A previous one I had burnt the hot chocolate to the base and couldn’t be removed. This one does hot chocolate very well (put the hot chocolate whisk cover on, and leave a minute or so for the milk to start to heat before adding the hot chocolate powder for best results). I love that I can choose the foam and heat at the same time. So if I want a full foam at 70, or a full foam at 50deg, I can! None of that preset nonsense. And the density of the foam is better. And lastly, its a larger capacity than others. So although it’s still one latte at a time, I can make two hot chocolates. Its not the cheapest out there (i paid 69.99 in Oct 2025), but I think that it is worth it.

It’s only day two of using this but so far I love it. Having always bought a well know brand of milk frother I got fed up of them always burning on the bottom so decided to try this instead. It is easy to use, doesn’t take up any more space than my old one and has the added benefit of heating up enough milk (when not frothing) to fill 2 very big mugs of coffee in one go. So far it hasn’t got any burnt patches (my old ones did that even when brand new) and it is really easy to clean - the jug can also go in the dishwasher but to be honest a quick wash with warm soapy water and it’s as good as new. Not the cheapest but still cost less than my previous frothers so as long as it lasts it’s a definite win.

I love this product, it's so quick and easy to use and makes lovely hot frothy milk drinks with barista oat milk or regular milk.

If it becomes necessary (for example, the product breaks) I will update this review. I've used this milk frother only once at the time of this review and while I have given the product five stars I do have to very minor gripes. First, I had real trouble getting the lid off. There is a lip, which is fine if you've just heated up milk, but I suspect would not be handy if you'd frothed the milk. Second, I feel that the instructions for making things like hot chocolate could be better. I did notice a small, light brown spot on the heating element after use, but although I checked throughly before inserting the jug maybe there was some liquid or dirt inside. Otherwise, than that, I'm impressed. The noise level is quiet, the hot chocolate was made beautifully, the drink was hot (but drinkable from the get go) and there was zero residue left on the jug/whisk that didn't just rinse off immediately. I did select a medium froth for the hot chocolate but there wasn't much froth at all - that said, it wasn't just milk in the jug and it was only semi-skimmed. I like that the lid is see-through too. Compared to the velvetiser it doesn't feel as high quality and the hot chocolate is not as silky. However, due to the problems I experienced with the velvetiser (2.0 not original), and how much easier to clean the Maestri is, plus the fact it has frothing options on top of that? I think the Maestri is better.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves it, saves money on making it at home instead of take-out.

Possibly the nicest milk frother out there, but you pay for it of course. Design, materials, performance are all excellent. Looks good on the counter, easy to clean. Makes "steamed" milk that is as close to a real steam wand as you can get without buying an espresso machine. Also great for hot chocolate. Just an overall good product...with a high price.

This milk frother makes a large volume of very nicely textured milk foam. It takes a few minutes to whip and takes a little effort to clean. Compared to entry level hand frothers, it produces a better quality of foam without requiring any skill or experience to operate. The carafe of the frother is a single piece of stainless steel with a plastic handle. The main body of the unit heats the metal carafe, and a magnetic stirrer spins and froths the milk. The design is similar to a laboratory hot plate and works very well. By using a magnetic stirrer, it removes the need for bearings or gaskets in the bottom of the carafe. I would have preferred a steel handle over colored plastic, especially at this price point and because as the carafe is listed as dishwasher safe. The plastic lid and silicone seal feel a little less robust than the rest of the design, but the important parts of the unit are solid. The body of the carafe and stirrer feel well designed. Operating the unit is simple. You add milk, select a temperature and foam level, and press start. It takes a few minutes, but produces a high quality, fairly homogeneous foam. You have to either keep a finger on the stirrer assembly or remove it when pouring to keep it from falling into your drink, but that's easy to do. I'm not very experiences at pouring latte art, but the rounded spout appears designed for easy pouring as opposed to detailed latte art. The foam produced is very nice. At the 160˚F setting that I prefer and using a 5% milk (cream+milk blend), the foam produced is thick and homogeneous. It added a nice, luscious mouthfeel to my espresso. I'm still learning espresso and milk drinks and don't have much experience making milk foam, but the quality of foam from this unit is better than I was able to produce at my skill level using an entry level hand foamer. This device produces great foam without requiring any skill. Cleaning the unit takes a little time. When I heated 5% fat milk to 160˚F, I ended up with a little residue on the non-moving part of the stirrer assembly. I ran soapy water through the foam cycle and it came off easily, but actually scrubbing all of the intricate pieces of the stirrer assembly took a couple of minutes. This means the whole process of foaming and cleaning is not a rapid process. I'd rate this as 4.5 stars out of 5. At this price point I'd prefer a sturdier lid and a metal handle, and the cleaning takes longer than I'd like due to the many small metal parts with crevices to trap milk residue. Still, the quality of foam and ease of use cannot be dismissed. My priority is having high quality foam, and the foam that this unit produces is noticeably better than what I could produce using a basic electric hand foamer. This unit works very well and deserves its rating.

This thing is the BOMB. Have used it almost daily for 10 months now. Had a mid-range Breville frother prior to this. This one blows that Breville out of the water. The foam is so thick and hot, it is simply wonderful. Easy to clean compared to the prior model I had.
