I absolutely love these lightbulbs! I have a physical disability that robs me of strength. Turning a lamp on and off is usually impossible for me. These lightbulbs give me so much independence because I can control them from my phone. Also, I love the colors and different modes they can be set to. My camera can’t fully capture how pretty the colors are. This is the first Bluetooth bulb I have got. I have to say, I like it a little better than the WiFi ones. It seems a little brighter. It responds faster when changing a color. The speed of the color changing modes can also be set faster and it can be dimmed while on those modes now. Before, they could only be dimmed while on a set color. I love the WiFi bulbs but I will be buying more of the Bluetooth ones for myself. This would make a great Christmas or birthday present!

I was fearing that I was not going to be able to do this programming all by myself at my age. WOW ! Was it ever so easy ! Now when I get up I can turn the light on in the den using my cell phone while making the coffee in the kitchen. I can go right in from the kitchen and not worry about tripping over the dogs laying on the floor in the darkness. I plan on buying many more, at least one for every room in the house ! Gee, this "new" tech is so much fun !

So I set these up and initially, it was pretty simple. Getting it work with Alexa is a different story, though. The Haodeng app keeps mentioning a Haodeng SmartBridge, but I can't seem to find what that's referring to anywhere. Then I finally saw someone's comment about using the Smartlife app, but I couldn't figure out how to get the bulbs to re-enter pairing mode (the blinking they do when you first turn them on). I gave up for now. I'll update this review if I get it to work, but that seems unlikely considering the instructions are not in english and/ or nonexistent.

We host house concerts and needed some additional light options. These bulbs allow us to add color to our stage and customize it for each artist. The last one wanted a magenta color on the stage but another wanted dark blue. Very useful.

I don’t have much experience with smart bulbs so I can’t compare this to others, and I do not have anything fancy like google home or Alexa, just an iPhone. Based on that I can say this is pretty good. Especially when it comes to price.I currently use one for my bedside lamp, but if I had more I think it would be simple to control based on what I’ve seen with the app so far.I like that I’m able to turn it on and off, as well as program settings so I can change it depending how much brightness I need all from my phone (and sometimes from another room). If there is anything negative it might be the brightness, at its highest setting, it can stand to be brighter, I think. But overall I am happy.

We purchased this light bulb for our new baby who sleeps in our room during the night. Since the baby is constantly getting up every several hours, we use our iPhone to control the light. We love the feature of being able to dim the light, as we do this as our baby starts to fall asleep. My only "complaint" is that I wish it could be a little brighter.

Had some friends that have these and liked them so I gave them a shot. First off they are easy to use and install but poor quality. Have had them on the back off my tv for about a month now and here are the problems. The led strip is separating from the clear plastic top. One section of the LEDs are never the same color as the rest. The controller app is cool but would actually like it to work the right color. Red on the app green led, blue on the app purple leds, and so on

the dimming feature is my favorite part.
