I was very skeptical about the reviews this product has and thought to myself, nothing is 5 stars. Well I was wrong, this product is worth its weight in gold. It works, it truly does work. We had a fruit fly infestation and found out they breed in drains. We used everything trying to get rid of them but they were persistent and very irritating. We finally got the Bye Bye Drain Fly product and it reduced them little by little. We poured this in our drains every other day, then we went to twice a week, now once a week and those little nasty buggers packed their bags and rolled out!!!!!!! The product has a very pleasant smell but most of all it performs, praise God Almighty, it performs!!!!!!!! You will not be disappointed with this product, not at all!!!!!!

I was hesitant to buy this because of the high price but at this point it was better than paying for an exterminator. I knew where those damn flies were coming from in my bathroom so I had taped up the opening so the phorid flies couldn't come out. Now I just needed a drain cleaner to kill them. So I read the reviews for this product and most were positive so I figured what the heck...I have nothing to lose except some $$. The product came right away. At first I was intimidated by the large container because I was worried about any toxic odor it would leave. I followed the instructions and poured 1/4 cup into the bathtub drain and covered the drain to let the cleaner work. The flies had still been coming up through the overflow drain stopper but I had taped it up. As I used the gel cleaner daily, I noticed less and less flies coming up. On Day 3 it had subsided a lot with just 1 or 2 flies coming up and by Day 4, no flies were coming up. It's been a whole week and I haven't seen anymore flies. I'll do one more treatment with the drain cleaner but I think I will call it a SUCCESS! I'm so happy and thrilled by this product and I still have a big container left for any future infestations. I was very happy with this product and I recommend it to anyone with fly problems.

The sink drain at my work is a quite large square hole in the floor and we were completely overrun with drain flies by the 100's! We cleaned everything really well and tried everything with no luck. I saw this, read all of the reviews and purchased right away. We followed the directions and they were dead and gone in a week! The drain is large so we did some calculations to get the correct amount needed for that large of a size and it worked! We left it overnight every time we treated it without any use until the following morning. The flies have not returned and it has been a few weeks! This stuff is great and I highly recommend it!

I ordered this due to a fruit fly infestation. I had eliminated any possible breeding place I could find and then read that they can breed in drains. I added this to all of my drains at bedtime. The next morning there were several dozen fruit flies around the windows. I killed all of them with spray. Day @2 there were less than a dozen. For a few days after that I would find 3 or 4. By day #7 there were none and that has been about two weeks ago. I did keep my fruit fly traps out during that time too. And I used the drain cleaner every other day for a week. Only giving 4 stars as I can't comment on drain flies but I'll probably use as a preventive next summer.

The bathroom drains I was able to let the product sit at least 24 hours and it worked very well.The kitchen sink has been a much trickier issue. So I put it in those drains in the evening andlet it sit overnight. The longer you can leave the product in your drain without running water,the sooner you will get rid of the flies. Hopefully I will be rid of the drain flies. But this definitely works much better than baking soda andvinegar, or bleach. Those didn't work at all. The smell is kind of sicky sweet---not terrible at all, butnot something you want to live with for too long.

This product works so well! It won’t disappoint! Drain flies were completely gone in a week!! I noticed a reduction after the first night! BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Very thick, will definitely stick to drain interior. When directions are followed yo the letter, definitely gets rid of drain flies. Well worth the money.

The product is extremely heavy! It is very difficult for frail senior citizens to handle due to the weight and bulk of the product. I need to get one of my grandsons to come and help me with handling it; otherwise, I am very satisfied with the product.
