I purchased this power supply as a secondary unit so I can use my older Dell Precision M4700 at home without having to move my original power supply from the office.I considered a bunch of other power supplies on Amazon and was about to purchase a different, slightly less expensive unit that was supposed to be compatible, but at the last moment I discovered it's power rating was much too low for my computer! So you need to be careful to realize that although some power supplies claim to be "compatible" it may just mean the plug will fit, but not that the unit can actually supply enough current to work. This is especially important to consider for older computers or high performance ones that may need to draw the full amount of power supplied by the unit.So I went ahead to purchase THIS power supply which has the correct plug AND a full 180W power output specification. The unit arrived promptly and was well packaged. The build quality seems good - solidly built and powers the computer just fine without heating up or making any noise. It's been working non-stop without any problem for the last couple months. That being said, I believe this power supply should be good to go for the long term...

Bought this as an additional power supply for my Alienware 17 R3 for extended use in another room as the battery only lasts a couple of hours and without having to move the somewhat cumbersome power brick. Completely compatible and slightly lighter and cheaper than the OEM original.

Overall, this charger is what you should expect. The cord is about 7-8ft and has the power brick located approximately in the middle. Keep in mind how far you will be sitting away from an outlet while charging. I would also be mindful of bending at the connecting port to the laptop as it can wear over time but is not detrimental. Overall, for the price, this probably one of best chargers on the market for AW laptop.

This adaptor works perfectly for my Alienware laptop as a replacement charger. I’ve had this one for a couple of weeks now and It doesn’t seem to get hot like the original one did, and it also charges faster than the other one. So I actually like this one better. I’ll definitely buy from this company again in the future!

This power adapter charger was exactly what I needed for my older model Dell. My original charger went one on one with a teething kitten and eventually lost. I was stuck literally to a plug until I purchased my new charger. Now Im very happy with the product and the kitten has grown out of chewing on cords.

This product works like it's supposed to. Keep in mind, depending on your needs, this may be a lower wattage supply for your device and something like a laptop will take longer to charge.

although the 180W power supply isn't the 240W dell recommends, i can only blame myself for not looking further in to the specifics. the charger charges very well and is reliable.Getting a replacement charger through customer service was actually amazing and painless. Definitely the best I've dealt with. Overall great product and amazing seller. 10/10.
