The fit of this elbow sleeve was great and helped to relieve pain that I sometimes get in my right elbow area due to small bone spurs (from years of pitching in little league, high school and college baseball) I've held off on surgery because it's not extremely painful...just more annoying when it flares up when trying to do general things in and around the house. In this regard, the sleeve worked wonders, however...I noticed after about 20 minutes or so that my skin around my biceps and triceps was getting irritated (small red dots). Not sure if this is due to the compression, or if it's an allergic reaction to the material used in the sleeve. I've used all sorts of synthetic braces and sleeves on other joints (knees, ankles, wrists, etc) and have never had a skin reaction like this. In fact, just to be sure, I put my wrist brace on to see if perhaps I've developed an allergy over time. Nothing happened, so I'm leaning towards this particular sleeve being the culprit. After taking the sleeve off and waiting about 10-15 minutes, the redness and irritation went away. I admit, that I tried these on while we were going through a heat wave here, but I was inside in A/C, so excessive sweating, etc couldn't be the issue. Might try using it again, return them or just toss them if the return ends up being too much of a hassle. That saying, "you get what you pay for" may apply here :\

I bought this for golfer's elbow pain in my left elbow. I'm 46 and I can generate decent power and my driver swing speed is between 100-107 mph. So I try to swing hard. And I practice a lot of short game shots, so I'm hitting the ground alot too. I really like these sleeves. I've used the velcro bands before, and they are effective too, but they slide around when I sweat and they also would get caught on my sleeves if I wore them under a quarter-zip or a fleece or sweater. These sleeves stay put. Good compression. I've had them since March or so - about three months - and have used them a lot. I practice a couple times a week and play at least once a week, so these have been getting a workout. They've held up nicely. No stink yet, either, though it's not yet summer heat. Even if they turn toxic over the summer, the price is attractive enough that buying a pair each year wouldn't be too bad. I often keep the sleeve on much of the day after I play and it is comfortable. They really offer a lot of compression, which is great, but I have not noticed any hampering of my golf swing. I bought a large. I was right at the beginning of the XL size when I measured, but I dropped down a size and I'm glad I did. The elbow pain is not gone, but it has lessened a fair amount. Sometimes I will just wear it even if I'm not playing golf if the elbow starts to flare up. Somedays the pain is not there, in fact. Two thumbs up. The package came with two, so I keep one in my golf locker and one in my gym bag. I wish they came in other colors besides black and gray. The black stands out a bit when I'm in short sleeves, but there are lots of guys with sleeves and braces, so it's no big deal - but I wouldn't mind have a white one too.

I ordered Medium size and discovered those were way too tight. I contacted the company [not Amazon] to ask if I could get the Large size and they were very accommodating - only wanting to see my order page - and the Large size arrived promptly and fit just right for me.

My husband has a job where he drives a 32,000 pound fork lift all day. He's had this job for about 17 years, and has severe tendonitis in his elbows. He also works out 5 days a week at the gym. His elbows are so tender he can't even touch them. We have tried many things from creams and massage, rolling them out with a fascia roller, etc. The fascia roller and certain creams help some, but he would basically need to completely rest them for probably at least a year to really get better. After some research, I decided to buy these for him, and he loves them. He wears them every single day and said they really help with the pain. He wears them at work, at the gym and doing projects around our property. They are probably one of the things we have tried that has made the single biggest, immediate difference. The one complaint he had about them for a while is that they are a tiny bit itchy. When I asked him about it again, he said that it was 'better' and didn't really bother him anymore. I don't know if he just got used to it, or it kind of went away. Maybe after I washed them it improved?? but he's not complaining about it anymore. He is 200# and 5'9" and we got size medium.
