Whilst this may be mostly plastic, it does the job really well. I have paid 5 times the amount trying to find a decent phone mount and none are as good as this. I use mine on a Orion reflecting telescope and it absolutely nails it!

I use this for taking photos of cytology slides. I attach it to one eyepiece of my binocular microscope and slide my phone into place, jiggling it about until I get a good picture. Once the phone is positioned I can focus and move about the slide as normal whilst veiwing the image on my phone screen. It cuts dramatically the amount of seasickness I feel if I have a lot of slides to trawl through. I can also snap away as much as I want. The idea of this product is dead simple and it works well, there is not much that can go wrong. Having said that the soft plastic baffles that hold the phone in place from either side were rubbish. They deformed and slid as soon as preasure was applied and the phone would move about in use (a tiny movement makes a big difference), I discarded these and use a dod of bluetack to keep things stable.

The device is well engineered and adjusted as required to my iPhone. Unfortunately my Swarovski telescope eyepiece was too large for the adapter eyepiece part.more suitable for binoculars or monoculars.

I mean a camera is supposed to be on the side not in the middle, not stable, very small and overall shouldn't even be 3.8 stars.

Intially it was a little tricky to get the phone positioned in exactly the correct position but the addapter is very flexable and can be twisted and turned in all manner of different ways. Does exactly what it is supposed to do an seems to be fairly robust.

Great! Not only is it nice to use, the material is very durable.

I found this quite frustrating to use. It was awkward to fit properly and then fiddly to adjust once everything was in place. I bought it hoping for a simple way to line my phone up with the eyepiece, but in practice I struggled to get it positioned the way I wanted and it never really worked smoothly for me. It may suit some setups better than others, but for my use I found it more hassle than it was worth and ultimately disappointing.

Nous avons mis un peu de temps à trouver comment bien le régler pour ne pas que le téléphone bouge sur le support. Mais ensuite c'est assez simple à utiliser. Il faut juste avoir le tour. Nous l'utilisons avec 2 téléphones différents et sur différents oculaires sans problème. Le plus difficile est la mise en station du télescope au final. Ça secoue pas mal quand on touche le téléphone donc c'est plus stable avec un pointeur. Mettre un retardateur de 5 secondes pour la prise de vue. Reste à trouver les bons réglages photos et attendre les bonnes conditions météos. Nous avons pu obtenir de bon résultats sur la nébuleuse d'Orion. Évidemment ça ne remplace pas du bon matériel d'astrophoto mais ça permet de garder un souvenir de nos observations.
