Great lift!! Watch out with instructions!!
The lift looks to be very good quality. I have been impressed with everything so far. I'm sure some of the top brands are probably thicker and heavier construction, but for the home mechanic of hobby user the value is unmatched. I am still in the process of installation, but i wanted to get the information out there for others to watch out! The Anchor bolts provided are M18 metric. The instructions say to use a 3/4" Standard drill bit to drill the holes. I would not recommend mixing a Standard bit with a Metric anchor. M18 bolts are only 0.708861 inch. 3/4" is 0.75. My results were not good and the first 2 bolts installed would not torque above 60ft lbs. Since i am lifting a car above my head, that didn't sit well with me. Wedge anchor bolts should use the same size drill bit as the bolt used. The M18 bolts would probably be fine, but a 3/4" bit as stated in the instructions is TOO LARGE and the lift has the potential to not be secured to the concrete properly. I brought up my concern with the seller and they were very helpful and offered to send 3/4" anchors or refund any costs incurred. I purchased Simpson Strong-Tie 2 ( 3/4" - 5 1/2") anchors from a local source. Bottom line is to always use the same size drill bit as the size if the anchor bolts for concrete anchors. That is just how they are designed to be used. Drill deeper than the length of the bolts and clean the holes thoroughly with compressed air. The Anchor Bolts should take some effort to pound into the holes. I used a 40oz. rubber dead blow hammer with about 15 to 20 whacks. If the bolts pound in too easily then the anchors won't hold like they are designed. I finished the installation today and the lift works as it should. I am very happy with this purchase so far.

What is Important
APlusLift HW-10KBP 10,000LB Two Post Floor Plate Auto Hoist Car Lift with ComboHave not had any issues with the lift for almost 2 years now. Then bam tried lifting my truck (6700 lbs) and it just would not do it.Contacted APlus and the responded that day. Texted a video of the issue and they sent the part they thought was bad and told me how to install it.It was better but still would not lift my truck. They suggest I try and adjust the pressure and bam it lifts my truck no problems at all.Cannot say enough good about this company and its customer service is the best. The lift works flawlessly - highly recommend it.

Great Value
Great value and price. Lift is very well made and packaged for easy assembly. Overall installation is very straight forward which is good because the instructions that come with the lift are very poor. Best advice is to carefully plan where you want the lift and what side you want the pump to be located on. My first shipment was damaged by the freight company and the seller quickly remedied the situation and provided a second shipment within a few days and I give them 5 stars for their helpful service and communication. Installation can generally be performed by one person except for righting the columns and positioning them in place. This is very quick though once you have an extra set of hands available. The instructions left off some of the installation of the column covers/protector which are easy to install once you figure out what the parts are for and where they attach. I have attached some photos with the review that will hopefully help out others in the future. Overall a great product and good value.

Not installed yet, but appears to be very high quality!
At this time, cold temps in my garage have prevented me from upgrading the concrete to the required thickness to install or use the lift. However, after taking delivery and unpacking the unit I have to say I am VERY impressed with appearance of the weld quality at all of the welded joints. No signs of undercut, no apparent porosity (at the surfaces of the weld), even width of welds, and a nice, appropriately sized crown. Yes, I have welded professionally. The posts did have some scrapes and scratches to the bare metal, and it would be nice if the retailer or manufacturer provided touch up paint. The APlusLift graphics were peeling off the posts, so I finished that process and will be adding my own custom cut vinyl graphics. All in all, it looks to be a strong, well constructed lift! I am super excited about finishing the installation, but will probably be at least 1 or 2 more months because of the weather here in N.E. Ohio...The 3 stars are ONLY because I don't know what the assembly process will be like at this point!

Overall the lift is worth the money.
I have this lift in my 50X50 home shop and it is awesome. I put it in a couple of weeks ago and yesterday we put my sons 1976 F-250 king cab long bed with canopy on it and wow, what a test for first time use. It picked it with no trouble.I have seen on here that some people have an issue with how slow the thing runs down and if you stand facing the pump handles, turn to the left-hand side and there is a down speed adjustment, and you can adjust that and make it a little bit faster. When I ordered it it apparently sat in a shipping hub for two weeks b-4 I got it. Not real happy with that but not sure why that happened as they said they didn’t have my address. Other then shipping, all the normal things like everyone says, bad instructions and such but if you are mechanically inclined, it went up fast.

I love this lift
I installed this in my new heated pole barn. Wow. It is so nice to be able to service equipment without laying on my back in dirt. It has easily already paid for itself in work I am now willing to do myself. Also nice to really be able to do thorough inspections of the underside of equipment and vehicles. In planning yours, I only wish I had built the pole barn with a slightly higher ceiling. I planned for 12', but that is apparently from the bottom of the concrete, so I got 11'8" . Another two feet would have safely cleared the tops of vehicles. And look out for the garage door. I have to close the door to go max height. While specs say you only need a 4" floor, I poured 6" thick in a 4' square area where posts would go. You really need a forklift and heavy trailer to handle this as it is shipped to you. I have a skid steer with forks, so all was good. It works great, though sometimes the safety latch on one side doesn't click the way it should. Since oiling it, it seems ok.
