Super-bright and super-compact. Rechargeable too.
This is a great little torch, ideal for the pocket or the bag. It recharges via the usual micro USB cable (supplied) and, at its maximum brightness (you can change the brightness via about 4 settings) it is dazzlingly bright..........it would deter an assailant probably, it is so almost painfully bright. The whole construction is solid and it looks totally durable. We've only owned it for a couple of weeks but, so far, it's well worth its 5 star review.

The ultimate keychain light and romantic gesture
I bought this for my wife for valentines day (I know, I'm a romantic soul) to place on her keyring. It's not only superbly compact, but very bright. The operating system whilst not exactly intuative is fine once you get used to it. 2 clicks of the button turns it on, quick click to scroll through the brightness modes & a long click to turn it off. If you give it 3 quick clicks it goes into strobe mode which is a comforting security feature for her in her dark underground carpark. It also has a handy 'momentary' mode where you press and hold the button and the light comes on (and stays on) until you release it. A very nice bonus feature is the removable (and reversable) clip. If attached to a cap it gives you an instant headtorch, freeing up both hands! :-) (see pic.) I bought myself a cheaper Olight keyring torch, which is nice....but not in the same league as my wifes' Aurora.....the things we do for love!! :-D

Brilliant wee torch
This is so easy, tiny and works superbly. It's really bright and I'm never without a torch as it really is so small and light that it lives permanently on my keyring. I bought head torch at the same time but there's no need to use that now.

Initial thoughts...
*** Over three years later (December 2023), this is still going strong. *** I only received this today, so can't attest to longevity but here are some initial thoughts... I've been looking for a replacement for my Olight i3E and came across this. RovyVon seemed to have a decent range of torches with a lot of good reviews, so I took the plunge. It's definitely keyring sized and very light, although chunkier than I expected. Again, I can't comment on battery life but it came with at least some charge. The product information on Amazon advises that a full charge takes 45 minutes but the instructions say 70 minutes...that's quite a big difference. It seems to be sturdily manufactured, with a nice aluminium alloy case. It has a single rubber ON/OFF button that's used with various combinations of short/long presses and double-presses to access all the functions. A nice touch is that if you single press and hold and button from the torch being off, it'll activate the high intensity mode (550 lumens) for as long as it's depressed...useful if you just want to quickly illuminate something. It has 4 modes: low, normal, medium and high. I can't find anywhere which states the lumen values for all the modes but 'normal' is 100 lumens and high is 550 lumens...and that's VERY bright. I thought my Olight i3E was pretty bright for its size and and that's only 90 lumens. Medium mode is still really bright. 'Low' mode is really dim in daytime conditions but I can imagine it might be useful when needing a small amount of light without wanting to disturb somebody else in the room...for example, using it to navigate your child's bedroom without wanting to risk waking them up. According to the manual, high and medium modes can only be used for 100 seconds before the unit will automatically drop down to 'normal' mode due to the "massive" amount of heat being generated. Not ideal, but I'm not sure if this would actually be an issue in the real world. Once the single button is double-clicked to power on it defaults to high mode and you can then single-click the button to cycle through the other available modes. I haven't yet figured out how to select a mode that the torch will remember, although the instructions do reference a 'memory' mode. Unfortunately, the English instructions aren't great so I think it'll be a case of trial and error. The top of the case has a hole which can be used to attach it to your keys, and it also comes with a lanyard type thing, a metal clip, and a micro-USB charging cable. The only thing I don't like about this so far is the rubber grommet(?) which covers that charging socket. Once pulled out, it remains attached to the torch body via a thin, flexible piece of rubber/latex which is so flexible that it's really difficult to feed it back into the body of the torch so you can refit the charging socket cover. The first time I did this it took about 7 attempts to get it right, but that'll probably improve with practice. Overall, a great little torch that packs a punch and although not especially cheap (it's 3 times the price of my old Olight i3E), I still think it represents good value for money.

Perfect for my keys
Really bright, battery lasts surprisingly well. I use it most days for my short walk home in the dark. Cannot fault it as a torch and would be buy another without thought if I need one. Only issue is that the clip came off within a week and is lost. Not the biggest problem but could be tighter fitting or with some kind of way of securing it to the torch so it doesnโt come off.

Too difficult to use
When its on its great, but i have the instructionsin front of me and no idea how to tuen it on consistently. If i needed light in a hurry this would be a disaster,. Plus the fact that once you finally get it going it dims for some reason, makes this one of my worse ever amazon purchases
