Great, spicy green curry paste...far tastier than the brand I can buy in my local grocery store.

Fantastic flavor! This small can packs a real punch. It gives the illusion I put more time and ingredients into the meal than I actually did.

The green curry paste tastes authentic, but it can be a bit spicy for Americans. If your recipe asks for the whole can, I'd start with a teaspoon of the paste and work you way up from there. You can always add paste, but once it's in the pot you can't extract it.

Rarely do you find a "shortcut" product that tastes good, costs little, and isn't full of junk and salt. Well, folks, here is one of those products! I keep these and other Maesri pastes in my pantry for when I have a craving, and I've never been disappointed. Now, there is a good deal of sodium in one of these tins, but it's not so much that you cannot manage. Considering that I will use one of these tins to make (at least) several servings of curry, it's not bad at all.

We make green curry weekly and this is the BEST green curry paste u can find! Just the right heat & flavor and u can use more or less depending on what u want, then just throw the leftovers in the can in the freezer 4 next time. In our green curry, we use a lot of veggies (and BLSL chicken breast) including eggplant, fresh long beans, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and coconut milk - with the curry paste, of course. First we "bloom" the curry paste in some peanut oil til its very fragrant, & set it aside. Then we use peanut oil to stir fry the chicken cubes til they appear done, cover them & set aside. Then we stir fry the cut up vegetables in a much larger pot - in more peanut oil) just enough to wilt them a little, add the coconut milk (2 cans if u use a lot of ingredients and the whole can of curry paste) - stir it well and let simmer a few minutes. Serve over steamed rice. U can substitute EVOO for the peanut oil if u need to, but other oils like soybean or canola taste strange IMO.

Perfectly packaged, perfect product! For a great Thai Green curry, use a whole can of paste. Toast it in a pan, then add galangal, garlic, ginger, kaffir leaves, cane sugar, sea salt, fish sauce, coconut milk, hot chicken stock,and raw chicken thighs. You can also include pineapple, sweet peppers, bamboo shoots, and sliced straw mushrooms. Finish with fresh lime juice and Thai basil leaves. Aim for a balance of spicy, sweet, salty, creamy, and sour. One can of paste should be hot enough!

Delicious paste! far superior to any grocery store brands. Pretty spicy, so if you’re a baby when it comes to a little heat, you might not like it.

First time buying green curry thai paste in a can. Wasn't sure how much to use so I used the whole can for 2 cans of coconut cream. It was pretty spicy but just inside the mouth. Next time I would use maybe half a can. Wish the colour was more green, so I will have to see what I can puree in to get that color. All in all, I would buy this again. I might try another brand that was equally well reviewed on a YouTube taste test of 5 different brands.

My go to when unable to start from scratch. Always have on hand just in case.
