this is my fave mascara. have been using for over 5 years.

What I ordered is not what I have been sent. I should have received the larger mascara but I’ve received the small one which is half the size. I’m annoyed as I ordered this before and thought I will buy again as it was great value last time. Very disappointing

I bought this mascara as a review was written on a beauty page of the Daily Mail which said it was waterproof. Unfortunately it is not - so I cannot give it a good review. As a mascara fine - but not for using when swimming!

Great gift/product with nice packaging.

I purchased this as it was on offer. Very hard to open, the brush big and awkward to use left clumps. I was very disappointed with this mascara the brush was too thick to apply properly. The worst thing was that how it smudges leaving black panda eyes . I will not purchase again definitely back to max factor.

The Revlon Blackest Black mascara goes on well (once one has fought past the shrink-wrap plastic sleeve to open it). It was thoroughly shaken before use, as usual, and the consistency seems to be free flowing without lumps.It builds volume but does not lengthen the lashes. It lasts the day without flaking, and is easy to remove with the usual moist make-up remover pads. It is not waterproof.It does not have the conditioners I expect to find, such as Witch Hazel or Aloe Vera, but it also does not irritate.The brush seems to work well enough, so long as the mascara itself is still free flowing and has not yet dried out in the tube.

This is a good quality mascara which applied easily without clumping. This made it easy to apply a single coat for a natural effect or to apply a number of coats for greater volume and a more vibrant effect. I also found that it curled my eyelashes much more than the mascara which I had been using until then. Overall I really liked it and would buy it again. My only grumble is that it was not completely smudgeproof. It didn't smudge really badly but each time I have used it I have ended up with a slight smudge beneath my eyes. I have reduced my rating from 5 stars to 4.5 stars.

I don't think I've ever yet used a mascara that lives up to its promise; it either clumps or doesn't add length. This, however, is slightly better than most. If used carefully it does do what it's supposed to: adds length to the lashes without clumping – too much.The colour is very intense, a very black black, and it has stayed on all day without irritating my eyes.Price wise it's in their with most other mascaras so won't break the budget, so all in all it's one I would recommend, and I would buy it again.
