Worked great for our Forrest river georgetown xl. The only issue was how to get it up to the bottom of the rig to bolt it in. After my husband had the idea of renting a transmission jack $40/day, he was able to get it installed within 4 hours. The stairs work nice and smooth just like the ones we demolished when our door flew open during a turn and the stairs came out.

Fits like a glove in 2006 Holiday Rambler Admiral SE. Stairs are quiet and sturdy. It's an absolute must to install the door sensor for the steps to auto extend and retract correctly. Not sure why the current sensor makes it run backwards but it does and the new sensor is necessary. I watched a video on YouTube and the installer was careful to explain that the door sensor is needed to make it run properly. It was easy to install with just my 17yo son and myself. To keep the bolts lined up I used 24 Guage steel wire to make a fish line around the threads and lined up my wire before lifting it into place. That really helped line up the bolts with the mounting plate. Beyond that the wiring was all the same and installed very quickly. All in all from removal of the old steps to complete install of the new steps and sensor was about an hour. It takes patience and planning. Don't be in a rush and this should go really simple.

I used a Vevor Motor Cycle Jack with all swivel wheels and 4x4 lumber. The jack only goes to 15 inches so the wood was needed. I did this on concrete driveway. A person could use plywood. I am 72 and using the movable jack made it an easy one-person job.

This unit works well for replacement step bolted riding as a replacement should, had to replace the electromagnetic magnet for the door to work properly unit is very stable recommended replacement.

Our 22 yr old steps have seen better days. Decent price. Pretty easy to install. Did have to drill two new holes on the top mounting plate. Same style as was on the motorhome.

Great replacement for my old tired rusty steps. We'll see how long this one stays shiny and operational. They still use friction bearings that are not sealed - IMHO not very good design for something exposed to the elements 24x7.

Perfect replacement

Boxed looked trashed when I got it. Steps were ok with a little scratch on them. Surely a shipping issue. Steps will run backwards until u replace the switch that comes with the new steps. Surely sturdier than the lci steps I had. Very well built and seem to be spot on.
