SauderCanal Street L-Desk, in Northern Oak finish

Assembling the desk is medium sized project. Will take at least an hour and at times, might need an extra set of hands. Instructions said don't use a drill... I say "live a little". Be sure to be light on the trigger lest you want to screw in one side of the wood and out the other. Instructions are clear but there are many of them.After it's all done, it's a solid, light-colored desk that is nice enough to have out with your real furniture. (that's what I did - who needs a dining room - amiright?)Cons for me :The holes for wires end up not being useful as they lead to the drawer (?) or other spaces on the desk ... As opposed to the back of the desk. I was hoping to use them to hide wires.I have a dual monitor mount with 27" monitors and it's about all it can handle. Measure your width if you fear your set up is too wide.Overall, I love my setup. It works with a coastal oak bookshelf and a light, washed out rug. I wasn't sure I wanted a light colored desk area but it's really got style - and isn't an eye sore.

I swore I would never purchase anything I had to assemble again, but wanted a desk for my spare room, and really liked the looks and functionality of this desk. Since working at home was mandatory, I decided this was a perfect time to buy. Olum's had the same desk for nearly $100 more, but you still have to put it together at home, so it was a no-brainer to order from Amazon. Unlike most "assembly at home" products these days, the detailed instructions include both diagrams and text to guide the user along the way. I am a petite woman and was able to assemble much of it by myself, but required assistance at the point the assembled desktop must be placed on the frame. (The instructions advise at this point that it's a 2-person step.) The desk is attractive, sturdy, and offers two different desktop levels, plus the drawer, 2 shelves and "hutch" section provide organization space for all of your components. I will most likely purchase the matching bookcase. Highly recommend!

There’s a lot of parts, but put together in about an hour wicked nice desk for the money

Not all items in the box were identified by a lettered sticker, so I had to guess on some of the stepsMissing an upper support rod. Emailed Saunders to request missing item and the said they would ship within 3-5 biz days. Receive fedex notification that it would actually arrive in 8 days. Inquired about overnight delivery option and they said I would have to consume the cost of delivery if I chose to have it sooner.Some of the impressions on the screws were faulty and my screwdriver would fit properly in them.

It's very cute. I love the look and functionality of this desk. I do wish they had an additional side to make it U shaped or at least the option. I'm finding I need a little more space. But over all happy with it.

Looks great and I really am enjoying it. I would recommend for sure.

Its a nice desk. Its alittle on the spendy side so i was hesitant at first. It look me a good 3 hours to put together, including bathroom and lunch brake. Also happy the USB charging port worked. Happy i bought this desk.
