Yes it’s for the passenger side on a uk right hand drive

Q: Do you need to open the passenger door in order for the seat to swivel around smoothly.?

No tilt the seat forward and may have to slide a little forward if seat right back.

Q: I have a T6.1 - will this fit in place of the double passenger seat? Are the bolt locations compatable going from a double to a single? Thanks

Yes you will then just have to remove the extra two studs out of the van floor, you can get blanking bolts for them
