X-Haibei Chrysanthemum Birthday Cake Silicone Mold Shallow Pan Bread Pizza Baking Tray 8inch

I bought two flower shaped cake pans from this seller including this one, and really love them. I sprayed the inside with a shortening spray before filling. I just measured them both and found that while they are about 9 inches wide from outside edge to edge, inside is more 7.5 inches. It holds 4 to 4.5 cups cake batter, two pans of this size will hold one cake mix. I tried using a cake mix for each the first time and it mounded as it was baking. That doesn't work well because when you turn it out of the pan, it doesn't sit flat and one of them split from it not having a good flat base all around. Leave some space at the top when you're filling it, a half cake mix for one pan is perfect. Two of them and you have the equivalent of a 9x13 sheet cake and much more beautiful. I don't have the patience to do decorative frosting, so I would lose the lovely detail of the cake if I tried. But cakes that I use a drizzled frosting on or powdered sugar look wonderful when baked in these. It was easy to wiggle the sides and get get it to be loose. When I turned it over on a plate, I could gently wiggle the cake pan until the top released. With both cake pans, these silicone pans came away without losing any detail on the cake. I am thrilled with these and love being able to serve cakes that look so very pretty and are easy to make! I've been using yellow type cake mixes, but around Christmas, I can definitely envision a red velvet cake with perhaps some tinted glaze.

Really solid mold. It is a bit flimsy but it does the job.

Good mold but giving it 4 stars because you need to spray some mold release to make it 100% non-stick.

Love this mold! I bought it to make a Jell-O shot cake mold. First time I used it I sprayed the silicone but didn't really need that done. I'm sure it will make lovely cakes and plan on buying other molds in different styles. Mold is not too deep.
