These are pretty good quality for kid walker talkies. Definitely use the instructions to set it up. I guess the only thing I would say is that it does have a lot of buttons and for kids maybe too many where they can change the station to easily. They are clear though and once they know what to touch fun for them to use. Size is also good and quality is good too. They’ve only used them from my backyard to inside so we haven’t tried a long distance range. I misplaced my instructions but was still able to get them to work on a clear station, even though I don’t know what all the settings mean.

Easy to get started. Easy to operate. Voices sound sharp and clear from our basement to upstairs living room. We haven’t taken them outside yet to try them, but they should work fine there too. Awesome Christmas gift for our 4 1/2 year old grandson who loves to hike and play outdoors.

I bought this walkie talkie for my kid and he was so impressed! He play with it all day. This is a perfect toy and i can say, not only toy. You can easily communicate for 2-2.5 miles in free space. It has different channels, sub tones and etc. as real professional transceivers. it's very easy to use with different transceivers (for example with Baofeng, Kenwood and etc.)Also you can use it as first step in HAM radioStrongly recommend!

They work Great I did however use a permanent marker on the sides and put the children’s names on them so they could tell them apart.
